Roleplay from Glory Gabanus Glory had been riding for some days now as she reached close to the city gates of Aix. She had not thought to arrive here so soon, if ever at all. For almost a decade now she had lived peacefully in the hinterlands with her family, but when word reached her of Goran's spotting she could not restrain herself. It had been even longer since she last heard of, let alone seen her brother and the idea that he was still alive both filled her heart with joy and fear. If it is true, then where had he been, had he spent his years in a dungeon, in agony? She could not live with herself if she would not at least try to find him again.

Some days ealier "My love, I have to, I would not forgive myself if he truly still is alive," Glory spoke softly as she held Asher's hands. Asher but looked at his wife. He knew well that once she was determined upon a course, she would not stray and he loved her for it, yet he feared it too in this particular case. "My love, the roads are dangerous, please, let me join you at least," Asher replied, but Glory shook her head. "There is nothing more I would like than to have you by my side, you know that, but I cannot ask this of you. If something happens to both of us, then what would become of our children? I know better than anyone what it is like to live without the love and presence of ones parents. I cannot do this to them my love, not now, not ever. You must stay here, but I promise you that I will be safe."

Asher hesitated for a moment and sighed, "I will send some of the household with you then, but please be safe and return once you have found him. We will be waiting for you."

Roleplay from Glory Gabanus Arrival in Perdan

Glory had spent the last couple of days traveling from Aix to Perdan, first by sea, then on the road between Perdan Mines and Perdan itself. To this day she did not like the sea much, but she had promised her husband to take this route as the roads could be dangerous and she did not have her retinue yet. As promised, the first thing she did upon arriving in Perdan was to take up a small group of men as he retinue to ward off any potential highwaymen along the roads she would travel next. Still, she didn´t like the escort of soldiers as it reminded her of old days, no if she had a choice she would not have taken them on. The roads would be long however, before she would meet her brother again and so she did. Now walking through the streets of Perdan with 7 men by her side to ward of any peasant which might otherwise have considered her an easy target.

She now turned to her guide and trusted servant "Please find out who is in the city and arrange meetings with them if you will. If you hear any word of my brother, let me know immediately. I would also like to know if this Lorelai is indeed my dear niece and if Lords Benjamin and Samuel II are in the city. Likewise, if you happen to come accross this Sir Hendrik of house Renodin, see when he is available, but not before having met the others will you." Just as the women walked away Glory spoke again "Ah, and the Queen wished to meet with me and should Lord Tsingu be in the area I'd like to meet him as well."

Roleplay from Hendrik Renodin of Arescod Outside of town, late in the afternoon

He was standing in full armour minus the gauntlets and helm when she arrived. He'd just given another training to his unit, but in all fairness, it was going to take a long time. These 20 men were relatively heavily equipped, with brigandines over mails, and very often arm harness as well, but that wasn't what was bothering him. It didn't mind him as much that their weapons were of a lesser shape, and although they were new, they each had a certain level of experience. Their inability to work togethern that was the problem. And it was his first unit. His father had never really prepared him for this, as he had been too young to do of this kind of training on Dwilight. He kept training them, making them the flagpoles he had set up for them hard, and then fast, but it was to no avail concerning their willingness to work together.

"A messenger for you, sir." A valet came to offer, who promptly received his helmet. "Hm. Captain Cengarda, take over for me, will you?" He said, and followed the valet.

At the edge of the training ground outside of the city where a few watchers, but he instantly knew that this wasn't a normal watcher. She was clearly coated in a nobleman's coat, differing starchly from the rest.

"Sir Hendrik Renodin of Arescod?" She said, partly as a question that didn't need a reply. "Lady Glory Gabanus would like to offer a meeting. Where would you like her to meet you, sir?" She spoke.

The seventeen-year old was momentarily taken aback, but soon recovered. "Let us meet in my estate. Perdan Citadel, I assume you know it? I have made my lodgings there."

She nodded, and was about to leave. "I will leave you to your doings. Farewel, Sir Hendrik." And she was gone.

Hmmm. It seemed that he was getting a visit from Lady Glory Gabanus. He had to pre- Wait... Lady...? Oh. oh no.

Roleplay from Glory Gabanus Meeting between Hendrik and Glory

It had been many years since Glory had operated within society, many years since they had truly highborn visitors of any kind, but it seemed in her search for her brother all of that was now about to change again. For a woman of her statue she could not afford to look poorly when in public and as such she had packed a multitude of dresses for her travels. Tonight she would meet only Sir Hendrik and so she decided to leave her most extravogant and elegant dresses packed. He was a member of house Renodin though, she thought as she was deciding on the dress, so it must be nice. After an hour of deliberation, Glory ultimately decided upon a simple yet still very elegant dress. Its light green colors complimented her lightly tanned skin and her long black wavy hair she had braided by her servants. To finishe she placed two pins upon her chest, one of house Renodin and one of house Gabanus. She looked at herself in the mirror with a look of amazement and sadness in her eyes. It felt wonderful to once more have occasion for her dresses, but she also did not forget that each dress had to be refitted. While her time in the country side had been blissful and she had been blessed with many children, she never did fully lose the weight gained by her pregnancies. She was not fat, nor overweight, but neither was she as slim and tender as she once had been. With all prepared, she now set out to meet Sir Hendrik.

Two hours later Glory's carriage arrived at the mansion. A servant of Hendrik quickly rushed towards the carriage to aid them. First Mathilda, her main servant, stepped out of the carriage from the other side. It was the same women whom Hendrik had seen earlier as she provided him with the invitation. She walked over to the other side of the carriage and carefully escorted Glory out. As the party entered the mansion to where Hendrik had been waiting, Mathilda first stepped in and announced her Lady: "May I present Princess Glory the gentle of house Renodin, served Queen of Perdan, heir to the royal lands of Nivemus, the long plains and the great white tree, heir to the Republic of First Oligarch and protector of peace and prosperity."
