It is forged of some strange dark metal, and is unbreakable. According to the tales, the wielder of the Scythe is nearly invincible, cutting down foes as so much wheat, but invincibility comes at a great cost. To strike an enemy with that rune-inscribed blade is to feel the pain of the blow in your own body. And each strike draws strength from the wielder until, at the end of a great battle, the user is in agony, though untouched, and weakened to exhaustion. To use it too often is to die as feeble as a newborn and maddened from the pain of the death of your foes.
