The Din Family

To understand the Din family, we must first understand the word din.

din (dĭn) n. A jumble of loud, usually discordant sounds. See synonyms at noise.

v., dinned, din·ning, dins.

v.tr. To stun with deafening noise.

v.intr. To make a loud noise.

Whether on the battlefield or in the tavern...the family Din has always been associated with lots of loud noise. Boisterous and fun-loving the family would rather have fun than fight. Their jovial nature is known far and wide as is their mighty rage when need of friend or defense of honor is called for.

Weapons are an important factor in war, but not the decisive factor; it is people, not things, that are decisive. The contest of strength is not only a contest of military and economic power, but also a contest of human power and morale.
