Due to his father's good reputation, Meginhard was appointed his successor, despit a young age of only 14. When Marcus D Luffy was instructed to secure northern Sabadell, he tasked Meginhard with building a keep at the junction of the Brenna and the Gelene: the Brennaborg. As a reward for building the keep and his diligent service, Meginhard received the keep and the entire north of Sabadell.
