Silly Song, September 9, 2012

Henry: Let's pick up the pace here, we've missed every battle, every muster, and I do not intend to miss the march north, if I can help it. Move!

Upton: Sir Henry, if I may ... perhaps the men would march more quickly with a rhythm in their step. Last night, I taught them a new ... um ... marching song, which you may enjoy, m'lord.

Henry: I'm certain I shall not enjoy it. Don't think I didn't hear you all sniggering around the camp fire with your ludicrous song.

Upton: Humor is a great motivator, sire.

Henry: Well let's have it out. It certainly can't make things worse.

Upton: Alright, men. A-one, a-two, a-one-two-three!

(OOC: to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band)

It was twenty days ago, about,
That we left to join the Storm o' the South.
We're all ready to push back the blight,
Still the unit's yet to see a fight.
We've been trudgin' up and down and back,
Too late for each and ev'ry attack.
We're Henry Bosworth's tardy troop command.

We're Henry Bosworth's tardy troop command.
How is it that we march so slow?
We're Henry Bosworth's tardy troop command.
Now which way did the army go?

Henry Bosworth's tardy, Henry Bosworth's tardy,
Henry Bosworth's tardy troop command.

It's wonderful to march here,
O'er each and ev'ry hill.
We'd love to fight some battles, but
We're sure we never will, oh yes,
We're sure we never will!

(OOC: Sorry if this is too silly, but I couldn't resist.)
