Gods Entourage - Part Two

Rugina saw something while she clutched her swords to her chest. Off in the distance by a small brook, she spotted a little elven girl cautiously peering around a tree. Rugina shrugged away her tears, and stowed her swords away. The little girl motioned for Rugina to come closer.

"Child, why do you play in such a sacred grove?" Rugina calls to the child.

The child steps from behind the tree, wearing almost nothing but a white slate. She was prompting Rugina closer.

"Why are you alone?" Rugina asks the girl, while walking closer.

The girl frowns. "I am never without someone, you are here, as I am."

Rugina raises a brow "But what are you doing?"

"You seem to always forget the token you were given when you were younger." The girl sighs

"Who are you?"

"I am nothing less then this majestic earth and wind, but even in this grove, I do not like staying long." The girl looks over her shoulder. "But I'm here to return what you have lost yet again." The girl holds out her fist and revels a silver hairpin. "Your always forgetting to use the proper accessory."

Rugina takes the Hairpin, puzzled. She remembers this girl. She knows this hairpin. It was a gift from some unknown fan, she had thought for all these years. Her voice shakes "Elune?"

The girl smiles "I've many names, that could be one of them?"

Rugina crys out " What am I supposed to do?"

The girl laughs " Oh girl! Be all you can be, and nothing less. As always." The girl looks over her shoulder again and frowns " But I must be going... Farewell."

Rugina watches as the girl runs deeper into the grove, then she holds the silver Hairpin tight in her hands. This was a divine gift, and she made her promise to the blue hilts in front of a goddess. This hairpin... was the symbol of such promise?

Rugina returns to her estate, and orders Tomas to her. "Sir Tomas, I have need of you as a leader, but to lead the guards and vigils while I'm gone."

Tomas stares at Rugina, shock spread clear on his face "We are leaving you? No, My Lady, I will not!"

"You will not be leaving me, serving me."

Tomas frowns " I am not a mere servant! What of our promise Rugina? What if you never come back?! I need to be with you everyday!"

Rugina nods sadly "Tomas, we no longer are bound by the same promise. You have already gotten your revenge."

"W-who will protect you?"

"I have a feeling I will run across something soon."

Two days later, Rugina meets a nobleman named Levin, who presented himself to rugina, with a matching Silver Hairpin. He was an interesting man, with interesting skills. He outfitted the remainder of Rugina's Entourage with these monstrosities Levin called a "Dragonhunter's bow" These weapons fired blots the size of lances, but their heads the shape of maces. These weapons certainly looked quite lethal, should they connect. And with Levin training the men, they certainly did.

Rugina and Levin decided upon a name, because of how they met, it was the divines who fated their meeting. It was the Divines who rained dragon's arrows upon their enemies.

Rugina smiles, holding the hairpin tight and whispers " Gods Entourage. Quite the new chapter, don't you think so Kennedy?"
