Arete Family/Aeryn

Aeryn is the first member of the Arete family to become an active member of the nobility, and has choosen Sir Phlex, Count of Washford, as her liege and patron.

Military Career

Carelia versus the Cagilan Empire

Aeryn was a late-comer to the war between Carelia and the Cagilan Empire. She fought at the Battle of Craigmore (July 7th, 12485 vs 1254), the Battle of Ledunds (July 8th, 9873 vs 1575) and the Battle of Alcatil (July 9th, 5435 vs 1687), each under the banners of Sir Grand Poopah, Marquis of Webgard, Marshal of the army of Stoneville. In the Battle of Alcatil, one of Aeryn's men perished as a result of his wounds.

War Against Ash Sea Islands

When Ash Sea Islands declared War on Abington, Aeryn was in Tandsu defended RedSpan's new region from Tara. She immediately began the long journey home to defend her own realm. However, Ash Sea Islands had acquired a large number of allies, including Minas Ithil, whom she encountered in Lurgrod on July 22nd (8533 vs. 1028). Aeryn fought under the banner of Mikhail Sergei, and emerged victorious.

The Battle of Wayburg

At sunset on July 24th, 2006, Abington forces marched on Wayburg, a Minas Ithil colony. Talerium forces were also present. Abington was outnumbered nearly 3 to 1; however, under the banners of Sir Grand Poopah, MI and Talerium forces were persuaded to turn against the colony. As a result, the forces were weighed heavily in favor of Abington (46960 vs 4773) and MI troops fought against their brethren MI colonists. Aeryn squeezed through the overcrowded siege engines and broke through the frontlines, inflicting many hits on the colonists. One of Aeryn's men was wounded during the battle.
