The Ardent family has been one of the minor noble houses of Gelene for so long that any other distinguishing history has long been lost or forgotten. The Ardents have served under a multitude of Margraves, Dukes, Kings and even through times of regional independence.
It wasn't until recently, however, that house Ardent managed to elevate it's status (2020-09-18). After generations of effort, successes and failures both, the family had finally managed to amass enough wealth and prestige to garner greater notice, recognition and responsibility.
The Ardent family is still small and of little note but it is determined to secure their new status and, if possible, expand. To this end they have sent Emerson Ardent to serve a more prominent role within Westgard.
