I thought after all this time you would have got my name right. It's Sir Sean Dixon, not Sam Dixon.

The previous torturer we had in Yssrgard was not very good, and I explicitly asked him to not harm Aeslich, that poor creature. All I wanted was that ring of Ikalak.

But alas, the torturer was a blunt instrument, and he killed poor Aeslich. He couldn't find the ring. Had she swallowed it? Not even after I requested to gut her.

And so the surprise when I saw Lilith , a commoner, decked out with such prestigious items unbecoming of a simple commoner.

This time, Sir Koloyok, supervised the torture himself and was well rewarded, with not one, not two, ... But five items!

If you want your unique trinkets back, come to Yssrgard, and I'll sell them back to you at a reasonable price. Maybe a thousand gold pieces per item should suffice.

Perleone’s Original War Declaration (half-pissed)

Yssrgard and Perleone have had a long and troublesome history. We have done much to guarantee normal relations with Yssrgard through various attempts, but time and time again, what little we build is quickly torn down again.

Perleone has recently enjoyed good relations with Yssrgard under Overlord Eros Harte. Sadly after another ruler change and other government positions, Yssrgard turned into an ignoble gang of thieves and murderers with no regard of consequence. Void of anykind of responsibility, this government allowed their Judge to capture a royal servant of Perleone, tortured and executed her and stole the unique item she was carrying, even though they had been warned.

This was part of a series of theft and violence, even abusing the adventurers guild to lure more victims in to steal a total of 7 unique items. When confronting their government with this behavior, we were dismissed, ignored and exposed to weak attempts at slander. There was no communication with their ruler and Perleone had lost all hopes of resolving this diplomatically. In fact Perleone has lost all faith in normalizing relations with Yssgard ever again.

After having tried all possible solutions we could think of in the past, our options are fully exhausted. Yssrgard will forever be a problem, and will always pull Perleone back into the next diplomatic crisis. Perleone does not have any options left but to force Yssrgard out.

Perleone hereby declares total war upon Yssrgard, and will fight to destroy Yssrgard by all means necessary, or until Yssrgard accepts the following terms:

1. All stolen items must be returned to the owners they have been stolen from. Ysrrgard may hand the items over to Perleone upon signing peace, Perleone will make further arrangements to make sure these items are returned to their rightful owner, unless they are returned otherwise.

These items are: the Amulet of the East Island, the Ring of Nudists, the Scarlet Breastplate of Glory, the Ring of Ice, the ring of Ikalak and the Mace of Batesaor.

Any item that has been lost or destroyed will require a 500 gold compensation per item. Some of these items might be worth more, in which case Perleone will pay for the rest. Yssrgard will also pay a compensation of 1000 gold for the loss of the royal servant Aelsish.

We advise Yssrgard to claim most of this compensation from the main culprit Sir Koloyok, the judge that carried out these heinous deeds.

2. Sir Koloyok will be declared a person-non-grata in Perleone, and will be banned from entering our lands or doing any kind of business with Perleone ever again.

3. Yssrgard will agree to migrate away from their original lands, and settle elsewhere with the help of Perleone. Perleone will fully support Yssrgard in this procedure and make sure the proper diplomatic arrangements are made for Yssrgard to settle in the agreed upon area safely.

Marchusson Polytus, King of Perleone, Royal of Perleone, Marshal of the Blazing Swords has updated his realm's reason and goals in their war against us. The new reason and goals are as follows:

If Yssrgard agrees to these terms we can sign peace and grant them safe passage through Perleone in their attempt to migrate. After severely changed external conditions, and after Yssrgard declining our offer while actively sabotaging our initial attempts at negotiating a migration, we retract our initial offer of diplomatic help to Yssrgard to achieve a migration.
