Heen (Realm)/Heenite Highlights/July '07/Erin inspires a peasant volunteer

The skies were black with smoke from the fires of Heen. The city was reduced to rubble. Ash fell like snow and the stench of the dead filled the air. Peasants from all around the city made their way to the Heenite army lines. Some Peasants had no clue if the Heenite army was still fighting. One young peasant huddled in some rubble trying to find his way to safety and keep him from being discovered by the Undead. Poking his head from the rubble he looked to check if it was clear. The sight was disorienting, all sides were rubble. The young peasant no longer recognized his glorious city. It was all ruined stone and fire. Suddenly the young peasant heard footsteps and rocks falling. Lowering his head he began to panic thinking it was Undead. He peeked his head out once more. Standing at the top of a large pile of rubble, a large banner of Heen was placed. Standing next to it was a Red Haired Noble. The young peasant rejoiced at the sight. The Heenite army was still fighting on despite the odds.

The young peasant made his way to the Heenite army.
