Final Words of Thor, Former Duke of Foda
April 2nd, 2007
This letter was found in a sealed envelop alongside Thor's remains. May the Gods forgive him...
Nobles of Tara, I plead to you. If you get the chance again, bring the light back! Elect a new leader for this realm! Do not condemn this realm further by electing Jonathon again. Personally my favorite candidate is Manxy, but any, including Achilles or James, would be a GREAT improvement. This is no longer Tara, this is Jonathon and Lister’s play realm. For this reason I have decided to will no longer be with you. I have had it with the back stabbing talk of our allies and the leading down dark hallways that this leadership is doing. I have had it with these two leading our realm. I have had it with their non-listening ears. This realm is not where I grew up and it is certainly not the realm that I have grown to love so much. It’s changed and all the old players, like Manxy and Achilles, see this. Heed their words to you when they speak! They are wise and deserving of your ears. I shall miss this realm! It was the only place where I actually felt like it was my home. But it has changed. I hope that things eventually change within this realm. I hope that my death will cause some people to finally listen. Do not let our leaders destroy the glory that is left in this realm. I nominate Achilles to take my spot as Duke! I know that Jonathon has told me that he will never give Achilles a position as long as he is our ruler. So I will start a referendum and let the people of Tara decide if Achilles would make a good Duke or not. And should they choose yes and Jonathon still doesn’t listen to the people than start the uprising. I love each and everyone of you! Please fight and die for the real Tara. Let the record show that I gave up my life, not in battle but for the old Tara. With great respect of the people of Tara...FOR THE GLORY OF OLD TARA!!!!! Thor

Duke of Foda destroys DMC Guildhouse then Self
April 2nd, 2007
For more than a week now Thor, former Duke of Foda, has shown signs of frustration and despair. These feelings came to a boiling point during Jonathon's accidental removal from Office and subsequent re-Election. Thor very much wanted a new Dictator on the throne but despite the current problems, the Votes went everywhere and Jonathon won anyway. I believe this was when Thor snapped into insanity and suicide. About 24 hours ago, Thor began to destroy the Darkan Mercenary Company Guild located at his City of Foda. This action was unauthorized and done by Thor and Thor alone. Darka lowered our relations to Peace a few hours later. Needless to say, confusion and demands for answers came from all members of the Military Council. Fearing Rebellion, I myself have returned to Foda and several others have set course to return home. I am happy such rebellion did not happen as the sideeffects to our Regions would have been dire indeed. Thor is dead. He killed himself rather than face the charge of treason and the verdict of death. We have all lost a great warrior and friend. His love for Tara has blinded him to all other truths and such lack of sight ultimately destroyed him. I beg you all not to follow in his path. I ask we all share a moment of silence for the passing of Thor, former Duke of Foda, former General of Tara, former Leader of the elite Silence Task Force and Comrade in Arms. The Fall and Rise of a Royal Named Jonathon
March 30th, 2007
Woke up one day and found this pinned on my door: Ruler stepped down (16 hours, 56 minutes ago) Jonathon, Count of Chagasu has stepped down from his position as ruler of your realm. He has given this reason: I am not able to carry out the duties of both Dictator and region lord. I must step down so I can focus on Dictatorship. Rumors are rife regarding the reason for this shocker. An attack of conscience or fear of rebellion? Personally, I think our ex-Dictator forgot to read the stuff he signs his name on. Regardless, we just had an election and guess what happens? Ruler Election Results (48 minutes ago) The following candidates were eligible for the ruler position: tempakoron, Xeon, Jonathon, the manxy, Wallenius, Achilles, Solton, Ottar, Thor, Ryo, Salcon, Blaine, Gaspard, Autumn, Castor, Conor, Eurmerric, Cubal, James, Kevtor, Jose, Galin 47 voters cast a total of 195 valid votes. Candidate Votes Proportion Jonathon 51 26.2 % the manxy 40 20.5 % Achilles 39 20.0 % Thor 24 12.3 % James 11 5.6 % tempakoron 10 5.1 % Ottar 8 4.1 % Solton 7 3.6 % Xeon 2 1.0 % Jose 2 1.0 % Salcon 1 0.5 %

To Be or Not To Be... | |
March 15th, 2007
...that is the question:
As it should be!!! No mere mortal could handle this stress. As the entire continent awaits our move, everything hangs in the balance. Tara, Redspan, Cagilan Empire, Ash Sea Islands, Talerium, Carelia, Eston, Darka, Falasan and Abington... all these Realms wait on us!!!! The ties that bind our Allies to us also binds us to them. Who shall we betray? Oh, the price we pay for friendship!!! What is the way of honor when our friends aren't friends with each other? Do we sacrifice one love to keep another? Shall there be a Solomon to say that we passed the test and thus keep both our loves and honor? The very existance of several Realms are on the table!!! Tension grips the Taran Council as even we wait on our Dictator's Word. With the Mighty ASI Army next door and the Southern Alliance too weak to stop them... With Falasan collapsing infront of Eston and Darka... Time has run out. TIME HAS RUN OUT!!! The Taran Army is massed in Jagla and now destiny awaits. Only we can tip the balance. Who do we side? Who are we? What do we want? I am gibbering. Even with the decision on someone else's head, I gibber!!! I fear!!! Who among you is noble enough not to be afraid?
Tomorrow is karma... Written by Jose dela Cruz |

Religion Comes to Tara!
March 6th, 2007
The newly appointed Count of Andurus Kkan, who entered into the position after the sudden and what some say mysterious disappearance of Aeryck, has constructed a small temple of The Order as one of his first acts in power. The Order originates from within the lands of The Cagilan Empire, one of Tara's closest and most trusted allies, and its first temple was built in Tarasac. Founded by Zadar Nargath at the beginning of the Butter Rebelion, The Order stems from The Order Of Ered Luin and contains much of the same values and traditions. The priests of The Order have said that religion can and will be a great benefit to Tara in the future, and that not having a friendly and somewhat standardized religion will put us at the mercy of our enemies, both current and future, in the times to come. Though many remain skeptic about what mere words and rantings can actually do, many more will sleep easier knowing that our enemies are not influencing the commoners and turning the masses of peasants against us. If you do get the chance I highly recommend traveling to Andurus and checking out this new temple for yourself. Though few Tarans have undergone the trek up to Tarasac, Andurus is much more accessible and allows for all of Tara the chance at religious fulfillment. As of the last time I checked, joining The Order had no monetary cost associated with it, and operated solely on the generosity of its members. If you do happen upon a lone priest wandering our lands toiling away at their duties, I urge you to show them the true hospitality of Tara. Show them not only that Tara deserves The Order, but that The Order deserves Tara. Written by Oscar |
Redspan tired of Living?
March 5th, 2007
News has just reached Tara that Redspan has declared war upon the the Ash Sea Islands. One can only assume the entire Southern Alliance will follow suit. Without Carelian and Abington help, Redspan will soon become an extinct goat.

Jose Crowned Region Lord of Aigling!
March 1st, 2007
Today Jonathan appointed the long time writer of the Tara Times, Jose Delacruz, as the new count of Aigling. We here at the newspaper have full confidence in our fellow journalist and know that the Aigling will prosper under his command. Now only Jagla awaits a lord, and the council will undoubtedly announce one once its stats are up to par. We would also like to extend a belated congratulations to Kkan Ayres who also became the newly anointed lord of Andurus. He was appointed to his position a couple weeks ago when Aeryck stepped down to go on holidays. Written by Rojo DeVesta |
The Atamaran Advocate | |
February 28th, 2007
Another newspaper is about to start printing in Atamara. This time however it will not be based in any one realm but will cover the whole continent. The brainchild of Benny Kimura, the famous journalist from Redspan, the Atamaran Advocate plans to be a fortnightly newspaper that will bring it's readers news on anything Atamarian. It's staff currently numbers ten journalists (one of them being myself) but it is always looking for new writers especially from realms who are not yet represented. However, potential writers be warned: your articles must be unbiased as this is an intercontinental work. Don't worry though there will be an editorial section for the staff to air their opinions. The newspaper is pretty much ready and should be hitting the presses as soon as Benny gives the go ahead. Look for it soon in a bar near you! Written by Rojo DeVesta |
