(still needs to be bound together in a cohesive story that will make sense)

~Lucifer after he beated the Champion entered Masahakon. He spotted more People than last time and what was appearing like the start of a military campaign.~

"Well here she must be..." he murmured.

~Approaching random Nobles and while looking as a beggar from the dust in his face, he started inquiring.~

"Excuse me, Lord... Do you know where I can find Laura, the Princess of Thieves?"

~And then again.~

"Milady, do you know where I could meet with Laura, the Princess of Thieves?"

~No reply had he received, but he insisted on what he was doing and started looking amongst the Nobles to find his cousin.~

Lucifer (Freeman)

As he led one of Nighthelm's finest infantry units out of the city, Ottar Hammarschmidt paused in disgust, and told off two or three of the burlier soldiers in his regiment to administer a sound and very public flogging to the beggar who had the audacity to actually approach the very nobility.

Ottar (Knight of Hatdhes)

Scion watched the men go to take the beggar and walked up to them. He put his sword out in front of them.

"Go back to Ottar. Take this with you for him."

He handed them a letter of introduction that he said he'd give Ottar. After the men left Scion turned to the beggar. He'd overheard the man asking for Laura, and spoke to him with a hint of jealousy was in his voice. He hadn't put his sword away either.

"You're looking for the Princess of Thieves? Why is that?"

Scion (Imperial Knight)

~Lucifer felt his blood frozing when a Noble for the first time responded to him.~

"I... She is my cousin, Sir..."

~Lucifer kneeled and lowered his head to the ground. While still standing like that, he continued.~

"So you know where I can find her, Sir?"

Lucifer (Freeman)

"Interesting. I thought she didn't have any family left in the Far East..."

The jealousy in his voice cleared away.

"Of course I know where to find her. Whether or not she'd let me is an issue, but I guess I could help you. Why are you looking for her?"

Scion (Imperial Knight)

~Lucifer still kneeled and with the head lowered, he continued.~

"She is the only one I have, Sir. I need to find her and acknowledge my noble rights..."

~The young man was eager to ask more, but he knew he could grow tiresome by asking many questions to someone of superior stature. He once raised his eyes, saw Scion's figure and lowered them again to the ground.~

"If I may ask, Sir... Where may I find her?"

Lucifer (Freeman)

"I see..."

He paused for a moment to think.

"As far as I know she is still in the Grand Lodge of Lunaria."

He really missed her, and knowing someone was able to go see her made him feel a bit worse.

"From here I'd say Idaol to Cutnipaniel and then to Azohib is the easiest route to Lunaria. The safest is back to Hatdhes and then to Dsinanas, but ship travel might not be to your liking."

Scion (Imperial Knight)

~Lucifer absorbed the information given by Scion and then he thought of his Book.~

"Sir..."

~He hesitated.~

"Would you be interested of an old Book of... I do not know what it is all about, but I would show it to you if you wish."

Lucifer (Freeman)

Scion's expression turned to curiosity.

"What are you talking about a book?"

He looked at the man for a moment and saw something else about him. The rags were all a disguise. He smiled a bit.

"How about you remove the disguise first? Then show it to me."

Scion (Imperial Knight)

~Lucifer took his rags of him and he revealed his quite elegant but cheap suit of clothes. With his head always lowered to the ground.~

"I had spent my entire fortune on these clothes..."

~He then searched into his bag and took out the book.~

"Here is it the book, Sir. I have acquired it from an Undead Lord. Before he died he asked that I do not touch that book but I could not resist."

~The hand holding the book, the very same one that acquired it the first time, was looking pretty old and sick. Lucifer's eyes narrowed.~

"My hand! My hand, good Sir!"

~Lucifer dropped the book and his hand became instantly healthy again.~

"What was that?"

~Lucifer raised his head and for the first time he looked Scion in the eyes. He was terrified.~

Lucifer (Freeman)

Scion looked at the book.

"Powerful magics have been placed on that book. Looks like it's cursed."

He thought for a moment.

"The contents will have to be copied to a new book quickly. That's if you ever want to read it."

Scion (Imperial Knight)

~Lucifer looked at the book and replied.~

"Err... I am not very interested for the moment... I think! However, I think that this Book has magical words to the inside or something like that... But... No... No, no, no..."

~Lucifer was scaptical.~

"I have to find Laura and complete my mission. Someone has stolen my credentials in East Continent and I have to find them before something bad happens."

~Then he looked at Scion's eyes.~

"Maybe... You would... be interested of the Book, Sire?"

Lucifer (Freeman)

"I am a bit interested in that book."

He looked back at the man before him.

"If you don't mind I'll have it copied so I can read it. If we meet again, I'll let you read it as well."

He paused.

"What did you say your name was?"

Scion (Imperial Knight)

"Sir, my name is Lucifer P. Lowenbruck. I am the son of the deceased Hero of Avamar, Sir Paris Lowenbruck."

~He looked at the Book.~

"You may have it and I will make sure that we meet again some day. But Sire... I am afraid to touch it."

~He did not raise his eyes from the sealed Book.~

Lucifer (Freeman)

Scion handed Lucifer a small pouch of gold.

"I hope this will cover it."

He bent down and took off his cloak. He wrapped the book in it.

"I will take care of it."
