The Art of a Good Husband...and Wife.

He was disturbed. She could see that. Somehow, he was paying his debts with all the women that he loved once with his daughter. She notice the anger growing on his face. He was learning how to be the father of a woman. Something dificult, specially if you have a very beautifull young daugther.

She leaves her chair and walks toward him, not in a seductive way, but tender. He seems to be lost in somehow, wondering how to do it.

Marion: Erik, my dear...you have to trust her. She is a very smart young woman. You may not noticed, but she can choose the best for her. We have to guide her...and trust me, I've spend to much time preventing her from the ones like you.

She laughs sweetly.

Erik Eyolf: Maybe she should wait until Dürion finds a wife. He’s still my oldest son and my direct heir. And definitely, I don’t like being ignored. She’s my daughter, my treasure and my blood. Even if I were a damn commoner, any man interested in my daughter should speak to me first. Much better if she chooses an elf, unh!? And yet, I am Duke of Avamar, Judge of Sirion and High Commander of the Silver Legion. This is not enough for that young people show me some respect?

Marion: ¿Did you had any respect for anyone except Ryu? Look...it is a natural thing that the young ones disrispect the old ones. And those, are us my sweet dragon.

She caress his face, softly and with love.

Marion: Is not that they don't respect you, they are afraid of you... you should seen his face face when I ask her about her father? He was scared as hell. Give him a chance. Give her a chance. She is young and it is her first apreciation about boys. Don't be so hard with them as you've been with the rest of us.

The Baroness walks toward a very big window. The moon glows inside the room. She gets lost in some kind of thougts...wondering.

Marion: Do you ramember what you said to me? your first words were...¿Have you ever dance with the devil under the moonlight?...I did, that night, with a moon like this one...and what I thougt was a mistake gave me the best thing that I have right now. Let her grow with her own mistakes Erik. We don't need the protocol between us, so tell me what bothers you... really. The truth is that I don't really know what you think about me. Really. Maybe you think that I am a stupid woman who crashes over and over again against your walls. But I'm not. Your other women may think that I am a foolish Lady that thinks that can change you. But I am not. You allready have.

He looks at her ffor the first time after the anger.

Marion: As you belong to your priestesses, you belong to me. You allways returns to me, not to Rugina, or Rain. But to me. The only diference between you and I, is that I have a kind of love that you don't know about. The one that your daughter will have for the Marshall if they meet again.

She losts herself again into the deep black night.
