The House of Marlboro is made up of an aging patriarchy of tobacco merchants. After several decades without any apparent heirs, the forefathers of the family were finally able to produce a son, whom they called Red. After the firstborn heir apparent, they cemented their legacy by siring a handful of other children. Most of the elder Marlboros are now deceased, leaving the younger generation largely in control of the family's holdings.
Their family crest is a simplistic eagle design, white on a crimson background.
