She rise her head and looked directly at his Lord eyes.
"I came here for these reasons, my Lord. I did this now only because I couldn't do this before."
She was not lying, at least no entirely. Was her wish to came early to present her feelings, but was needed wait.
"As I said, is my interest, as well of my family, the welfare of your family, for which we have great regard. With this in mind my brother, Baron Myka, with whom I've commented about your daughter and all her well-known qualities, including her admirable beauty, thought how a great joy could soften a great loss. By this reason, and for the all other benefits that our families could profit, that is his intention to marry your daughter and make our families closer."
She didn't lost the eyes of Gregor not even for a second. She knew that his words must not only be, but must also sound truth and her eyes were key components to this.

Gregor was a very straightforward man. He had led the young Lady that way and finally discovered what she wanted. He did not take the merit of gift and her condolences, but the issue went beyond those issues. Lord Myka, like many others, had gone through Abilotiel before grow in importance. And if Gregor had some pride in the last times besides his work was the immense power to recognize new talent and make then grow to assume great positions. This happened in Papania and was thus in Ohnar West.
Gregor Eyolf: "Then, the young Lord Myka of Nabash want to marry my daughter. I remember him when he was just a young one like you, Lady Sophythia. And many other that had my oaths and estates in my lands. Now he is a Lord and Judge of Ohnar West. I hope you can follow his steps. Unhappily, none of you can follow my own steps. We are a political realm... and it certainly bothers me a little. However, this calm situation may help the young Lord to be a good husband. I lost much time of my first marriage's years. I was always too busy crossing vast lands to defeat my enemies..."
Gregor didn't lose eye contact with her. Even if the eyes were narrow in a stern face. Probably there was some relief in that offer. His daughter looks like too much with his wife and he could not live with those memories. And do not even know how to take care of a girl without his wife. After some silence, he answered in a low tone:
Gregor Eyolf: "Tell to Lord Vykos that I accept his visits to know my daughter. If she likes him, we can arrange a marriage between them. I know that you have a relative serving in the same realm of Lor Erik Eyolf Serpentis. He's a prominent name of my family. It seems the destiny already laced the proximity between our families. Gregor didn't smile. But he seemed more relaxed. Then, he said in a humorous tone.
Gregor Eyolf: "You cannot travel in this cold night anymore. Stay with me and drink a chalice of wine. I have a young son, if you are thinking in a marriage too..."
The old Lord walked to the table and filled another chalice of wine. He offered her chalice again and sat in one of the armchairs. He let her sit. She had gone up there and was now stuck in the house of the old hero. And she would have to entertain him a bit until the sunrise.

She was trained exhaustively by the mentors of the Vykos family and by her father, Hagen Vykos it self, to speak as softly and politely as possible. This means stop talk softly and politely when the situation ask for it.
The old men are well-mannered, but is a warrior and, as such, are obviously a practical man.
Thankfully she worked well with the words, and the situation, as his brother Myka predicted, are favorable to them.
"I'm glad in hear that you agree with the marriage. My brother also remember you since the times of the fallen realm of Papania, and how you supported him in the occasion of the dispute for the Lordship of Semon, his original lands, and after in Hosiel. He always admired you and your strength of character, as I'm starting to do too. When I travel back to my estate, I'll send him a letter with the good news, I'm sure that he will came as soon as his duties allow him. I'm sure that your daughter will appreciate my bother company, as him will surely appreciate her."
She accepted the chalice and sat in the chair, crossing her legs. She was not the most beautiful lady of the realm, but she is beauty and learned how to behave to become even more interesting.
She know that travel back in the middle of the night will not be a good idea, and maybe this may be a good opportunity to know better her liege.
When Gregor spoke about his son, she smiled with indescribable grace, and replied.
"Before join in a family like yours I have much steps to take." And drank a small sip of the wine, continuing shortly after "My brothers, both Lord Myka and Petrov, told me many stories about your family deeds, but is always listen from a eyewitness. If it will not bother you too much, I would like to learn about you and South Island. I'm sure that there are many things to learn with."
She smiled again, swiftly. Her movements are measured, precises but also calms and harmonic. Her body show that everything is under control, even with her eyes showing that she was a little insecure.
