Shy Introductions
(Roleplay from Kenshue Kazukin)
Kenshue and his infantry unit stumbling from their wounds, because of their encounter of the monsters there, traveled from Zolon to Erahol, to attempt to get to Idapur to rest and recruit. They took a short rest as they watched a few of their men wither away to nothingness from their wounds, Kenshue knew they deserved a proper burial in honor of their bravery and courage of Greater Aenilia.
"Captain Heidric, see to it that all those who are still healthy work to properly bury those we've lost. Kenshue replied, as he walked away, headed towards the shore to avoid showing his sorrow for the men he lost on his account.
As he grew closer to the shore, he once again saw the gal he once fought along side with in Ornaz, against another unit of monsters. The thought of his lost units quickly vanished, as he approached her once again.
"Lady....errr....I don't believe I've ever actually caught your name" Kenshue said to the girl he wanted to know so much more about.
She was snapped out of her reverie by his voice and gasped quietly in response. Taking a brief moment to collect herself, the girl wondered why her men did not prevent this man from bothering her. Then she turned around with a neutral expression, hands resting calmly upon the two black hilts at her hips. Upon vaguely recognizing the fellow, Adaria let a small smile show and relaxed a bit.
Her hands drifted away from the sheathed daggers and came together in front of her body, fingers clasping each other tightly, perhaps in slight nervousness.
"Oh hi. I'm Ada. Ria. Um, Adaria," she replied with a blushing giggle. Well, wasn't that embarassing? The girl cleared her throat and brushed a few jet-black strands of hair away from her eyes to over and behind an ear. "And you are...?" She knew who he was but figured it was best to play it coy.

Fujita looked over to where Adaria stood, then shook his captain's shoulder.
"Captain Oswin, check out those two love birds over there. I think it is Lady Adaria, and... um, who is that other one?" "That would be Sir Kenshue, sir," his captain replied, shaking his head as he remembered how bad Sir Fujita was at remembering names. "Ah, yes... now I remember," he said, not really paying attention any more to his captain. "Oh, Sir Kenshue. Don't you see how much she loves you? Just kiss her already!" he called out. The couple jumped about ten feet into the air, leaving Fujita laughing with delight. "Sir, must you really be so blunt?" replied Captain Oswin. "Why, if they take it too slow, their love will just wither away, rather than blossom into something more beautiful and glorious than any combat," he said, as they went off towards Anacan.

Kenshue couldn't take his eyes off the girl that was standing in front of him, he was mesmerized but as he faintly heard "And you are...?" he knew he was to reply to not look totally distracted by her.
"I'm Kenshue, you may of heard of my sister Rebbec, she is the local lord of Erahol here..." Kenshue began to think to himself wait, she wants to know about me, why am I bringing up my sister "My unit and I are headed towards Idapur after we recently fended off the monsters in Zolon, where are you off to?" Kenshue replied curiously, never taking his eyes of her.
"Oh! Hehe, mm, I see. Lady Rebbec, yes... Xarn--I mean, Duke Lightstar, has spoken well of her to me before. And I heard about that recent fight... Something about a brave young fellow leading a bunch of hysterically-screaming men scaring off some monsters?"
Crap! Did that sound insulting? She did not mean it that way, of course, but...
"Erm, you wouldn't happen to know him, would you? I think I might like to meet the guy..."
Double crap! Now that was just lame... She wanted to find a hole to crawl into just about now, when someone seemed to shout something from really far off, causing her to jump in surprise!
"Wait.. did you hear something?"
She peeked around nervously, with wide doe eyes.

Kenshue laughed a little at Adaria, she seemed so cute all confused, "Yeah, those were my men, they get a little crazy when it comes to fighting off monsters. They like to stay back while others venture off to war, to keep peace amongst our home. It's a tough job since I seem to be alone most of the time, but someone has gotta do it..."
Kenshue sat down as the conversation continued. His wounds were beginning to get the best of him, and he was beginning to remember why he was had ventured down to the shore in the first place, but he couldn't show he was weak to this young girl he had been admiring.
"Please, sit, and talk with me some more" Kenshue said, as he looked up and patted the sand next to him.
She smiled and nodded at Kenshue's remarks, but when he sat down and patted the sand next to him, the girl stiffened in mild shock.
"Err...yes, well, um..." Adaria glanced all around again, then looked up and pointed at the sun (or the moon... whichever you prefer, XD). "Oh! Look at the time! It's getting late, and I'm afraid I must be going now! Nice chatting with you, by the way!"
She brushed nervously at her hair again before waving goodbye frantically with one hand. Then, before Kenshue even had time to respond, the girl dashed off to the west.

Kenshue blinked and just like that the girl named Adaria had disappeared. He began to wonder if it had all just been a mirage from the pain he had been feeling. He proceeded to lay down in the sand, and just as he closed his eyes, he could hear movement.
"Adaria, is that you?" Kenshue said, opening his eyes, to the sight of his captain.
"Are you feeling alright, Sir Kenshue?" Captain Heidric replied, ready to take any action needed if something was wrong.
"Everything's fine, what's our status?" Kenshue said, with a tiny bit of sadness in his voice.
"Jobs done, we're ready to move out to Idapur" Captain Heidric responded, and with that Kenshue got up and followed him back to his unit.
