The Massive Unit Departs

His eyes glinted in cold satisfaction, as the massive unit prepared to head out to Ornaz. Hopefully, Tharion would be able to join him in time and provide a dependable meat-shield. If not, well... He supposed they would just have to make the best out of a clear line of sight. At least one thing was for certain: a hell of a storm was headed for Soliferum, and it was going to rain death and destruction.

Letter from Caim Haerthorne
Message sent to all members of the Aenilian Expeditionary Army

Brave men and women of the Aenilian Expeditionary Army,

Although I was proud to see such valour and a healthy appetite for southron blood (its a bit dry, so I recommend mixing it with some good wine to dull the aftertaste), some of our allies were a bit put off to miss out on the fun of banging heads in Taop. The Arcaeans were especially disappointed to discover how early Xarnelf gets up to put on his warpaint, since it usually takes them at least a few hours to ensure their hair is suitably wavy and silky. Mind you, it is a sight when they get to the fight.

We shall soon be marching out again to ensure greater devastation than before against the enemy. Thus, because it would grieve me to think anyone was not able to bring the right toys for the kind of fun we like, I would like to ask;

Anyone who needs extra gold for this campaign, or merely for the siege engines, please inform either myself, your liege, or your friendly local Duke.

Or someone elses Duke if it takes your fancy.

Caim Haerthorne
Marshal of the Aenilian Expeditionary Army

Xarnelf had a long and hearty laugh at the Marshal's words as he rode in the front. Well then, it was too bad for the Arcaeans, since it looked as if his outrageous plan was going to disappoint them even more than his assault on Taop. The hero sincerely hoped that he would pass some of them on his way to Cathay, for it would certainly be priceless to see the expressions on their faces at the sight of his archers pushing catapults...
