Himoura Family/Setsuka

Setsuka, the daughter of Erlang. She was kidnapped from her mother one day by a band of heretics who followed Tyr. She was trained as a paladin for some time, then she was visited in a dream by her current patron, Mephisto, the Lord of Hate. He told her to leave and seek her father, Erlang, the Prince of Darkness. She awoke the next morning and the men who had raised her tried to rape her. She slew them all and drank the blood of the high priest and left. She was fourteen years old.

She travelled for a time and sought out her father, who had been wandering the world for a time, spreading destruction and despair. He left her in the care of his most trusted followers, the high clergy of the Chaos Requiem. She excelled in her training, becoming bloodthirsty and ruthless. However she was more intelligent than her arrogant father and uncle and after they got themselves killed, she took up the reigns of full fledged nobility and has been far more careful and less arrogant than her predecessors.

Through a bit of cunning she retrieved Arkenine, and for a time kept the fact hidden.

Setsuka started her career in Soliferum, but quickly grew bored, craving war and power. So on a looting mission into Arcaea she abandoned Soliferum and joined the realm she had just aided in plundering. She quickly gained influence and led a rebellion, but through some trickery was banned from the realm before the rebellion could actually take place, and sent packing. She left for Ethilia and was eventually given the title Countess of Pesol. Using her title, she set up the Chaos Requiem as legitimate religion, and began preaching her malice far and wide, but was banned from Ethilia under non existing laws. She gifted Valion with the cursed sword Arkenine, and left to wander. She wandered for a time, becoming part of Lasanar, then drifting as a rogue for some time. She then joined Colosan, the realm taken over by the man she loved, Valion. She stayed there for a short period, then the realm was destroyed. She stayed in the Antoza Commonwealth for a time, but soon heard news of the death of Valion. Grieving, she fled to Nighthelm and stated she was done with her old ways, but secretly was plotting to gather the shattered fragments of Arkenine and avenge Valion. She was found one morning with her neck snapped, the identity of her killer(s) is unknown.

Shield: Black Iron Shield of Tuerny the Merciless, it was a shield used by a powerful tyrant who was known for his brutality.
