Poindexter is a pretentious fop who fancies himself a seeker of arcane power. He presently sees necromancy as the path to that goal, but most of what he knows about the subject comes from bard's tales and is probably hogwash. He recently met someone who has promised to teach him.
He tells people he left his home realm due to superstitious persecution of his studies, but in reality his family could no longer stand his constant mangling of the language. Perhaps in time he will mature into something respectable.
He is a knight of Outer Tilog.
