Over the past few months, Kurohyou has been involved in constant battle in order to ward off the enemies of Sandalak. Unfortunately, his efforts have failed and the city is one the vurge to destruction. In an attempt to keep the enemy from attacking Sandalak, he has continued his journey to be reunited with his fallen friends towards the lands of Toren...

Main Entrance

Kurohyou and Kyoku arrive in the town of Fali. They see the last glimpse of Sandalak city and wish it good luck.

"May my cousins Great Dragon watch over you, Dark Griffon."

Then, as they continued to walk into the town, they noticed that some of the peasants were showing signs of disgust and disbelief. Kuro could just get clips of the conversations.

"...he honestly has some nerve coming in here..."

"...I wonder how long he'll be with us for..."

Kuro just continued walking and ignored the passers by. As he and Kyoku continued, a gust of wind had swept in and almost took Kuro off of his feet. He looked and saw that it was pointing him toward the north.

"Would this be a sign of some sort? Well we shall soon find out, but for now, we might want to get going to our new capital Kyoku."

Kyoku gave a quick bark and they were heading towards Toren Stronghold, in hopes of seeing what this sign meant...

Kuro is greeted kindly by many nobles in Toren, and is quickly put to work with scouting duties.

Then while Kuro had covered Kyoku in a blanket, one of Kuro's scouts had returned from his duties. He had given Kurohyou his reports and then went into the cave seeking heat from the winds outside. As Kuro went to look at the report, he saw that the man's hand writing was that to chicken scratch...he could just read what was written.

"Hehe...were you on the run or is this how you usually write, young squire?"

"My apologies, m'lord. It was this wretched wind. I had a hard time trying to fill out the info for it was blowing in my face and actually spilt some ink on it as you can-"

"No need to further explain, I understand what it says. Now warm yourself up, its awfully cold out there."

Kuro then decided to take a quick look around the area. He went a litte higher than the cave was and saw that the land looked magnificent. He was about to try and get a quick sketch, but was interrupted by the wind. It pushed him back and it continued to blow north towards the city. Kuro ignored it at the moment and continued onward back to his cavesite...
