High hit rate archers in all battles, never entered the melee preferring to act as archers. High hits per man, decent defence: between 26 and 37 hits per casualty.

23 men : 504CS (C 22% M 84% T 85%)

Seems just like a regular infantry unit when fighting in an open field (Battle in Aestus, Battles in Leibo). Strong in defense (cca 40hits per casualty)

--- Battle in Aestus report:
nb1 Attacker; 12 Monsters; line; 6 % org; 635 CS
nb9 Defender; 23 SF; line; normal; 94% organization; 532 CS

turn 2: The Branded Ones (9) score 153 hits (6.7/man, 0.29/CS). The Branded Ones (9) take 38 hits in close combat, which cause 1 casualties.
turn 3: The Branded Ones (9) score 289 hits (13.1/man, 0.57/CS).
turn 4: The Branded Ones (9) score 289 hits (13.1/man, 0.57/CS). The Branded Ones (9) take 16 hits in close combat. No casualties.

Honour and Recruitment

Researcher: Erazem Luegg
As can be found on Honour and Recruitment page the general formula seems to follows:
Number of men = Factor * Honour + Offset

Unit type Factor Offset
Infantry 1.5 22
Archers 1.5 22
Cavalry 0.5 7
Special Forces* 0.5 7

* Suspected, will be tested in the future.

My unit (max 23 men, 32 honour) has the same limitation as the formula for Cavalry (23 = 0.5*32+7), so it is reasonable to conclude the formula is the same. This will be easily verified with a different honour. We should also check if Cavaliers get additional allowance as per cavalry.

Confirmed: 26 men = 0.5 * 38 honour + 7
