Jeherad's Twilit Diary of Night

In its original condition, when found by Garret while traveling through the western wilds of Dwilight, the diary was in very bad shape, and Garret nearly threw it away as trash. It was only the half-faded symbol of the Artemesia family on the back cover that saved the artifact. Since then, Garret had worked hard on restoring and transcribing the text so that the contents can be read, but had little luck, as the front cover had been mising, and an unknown number of pages had been torn out. Furthermore, the ink had mostly been washed into black smudges on the yellowed paper.

A woman named Bai Yan, who looked akin to a young Dongese woman, restored the diary, in parts, starting from the cover and the first few pages. How this was achieved, Garret could not determine, but all he concerned himself with at the time was the restored text.
