The Regions of Obando

This is an RP attempt created by Lord Antan of Old Rancagua upon December 4th, 2005. This is not an actual division, it is merely an RP attempt between a lord and his knights.

Worthingsfell

This region is a large expanse of grassland. There is major emphasis upon grain farming and cattle ranching. There is one major river that the citizens of the area refer to as simply, “The River”. This river is open for naming by the region lord and much needs one for easy reference. The major town in this region is Norvotia, a center for grain storage and distribution.

Grintofex

This is another grassy region, although it is much smaller than Worthingsfell. There is heavy emphasis on the growth of corn. The population is very small and there is room for considerable growth under the guidance of a good lord. There are many small cities that dot the area, but there is no large area of population.

Rophenia of the Mount

This land is dominated by the large Mount Obando. The mian income is from mining gold and silver. This region is the main gold producing region of Obando. The largest mining boom town is Herthingforia, where the miners have settled. This region is an economical hotbed, and the people must be protected to ensure gold keeps flowing out of Obando.

Dyrolean

This land is a barren heath of wasteland. There is little economic activity here, because former wars have left it desolate. If a region lord is able to turn this region around and make it fertile once again, they will receive great honor and perhaps increase their region ownership.

Homdromia

This is the land reserved for the Baron of Obando. This is the Lord’s private hunting grounds and home of the lord’s palace. This region is one of hunting and fishing as the main economic activity. There have also been a number of building projects sponsored by previous barons, making this the best region in Obando.

Feirgsworth

This region is the other region of forest in Obando. The main activities involves forestry and hunting. This is the most populated region in Obando and is home to the Lone Hunter’s Pub. This region is also home to the most fragile region in terms of politics. This region has seen numerous uprisings in Nif, the main town, and takes a strong leader to control, if the lord can keep the peasants happy, there is wealth and opportunity waiting.

Mozerslough

This region is one of the most vital to Obando’s defense. This is the region that holds Obando’s motte and bailey, The Hold. This region must be managed by a strong lord that can rally the peasants to the defense of the region. This is also a grassland region, as most of Obando is. This region’s main focus is blacksmithing, weapon crafting, and armor crafting. Basically any activities involved in the maintaining of Obando’s defense.

Field of Wentingfallon

This region is the breadbasket of Obando. This region holds the largest windmill in the region, making it a center for grain production. There are also many bakeries in the region, giving the region a corner on the bread market. There are two twin towns on opposite sides of the river that power the region’s mills. The towns are named Kiportin of Gefn.

Banackbrook

This region is virtually unsettled. There are hardly any peasants in this region of swamps and marshlands. The region lord that can bring settlers into the region, just might have a more fertile region to add to their ownership.
