Origins
Long ago, the McDugan Family lived in present-day Norland as respected blacksmiths. However, as the vikings slowly started forming cities/governments and fought less, business took a turn for the worse. With that, the family looked to the south for a place to call home. That place was found in Leohampton. Over many generations, the family climbed the social ladder through hard work and a few skillfully arranged marriages and was at last considered a noble family.
