-Terok, Vorok and Pollarus are all subject to an ancient and vile curse. The curse was accidently placed on them by a wizard, while he was attempting to bless the sons, to save them from poverty.
-The curse gives the sons a hunger for souls. Devouring souls makes them stronger. If they go a long period without eating souls, their body begins to rot and die.
-The sons can see the souls of living creatures. Undead have no souls, making them easily recognised. Immortal creatures such as daimons, have souls of a very different appearance to mortal creatures, such as humans.
-The curse gives the sons immortality. If they die, they can take the body of any nearby creature.
