Source for images?
Hi, I noticed you've uploaded some very nice looking images (ex.: Image:Bp007.jpg). I'd like to credit the artist, and also make sure that we're not infringing on any copyrights. What is the source of the images? Cheers -- Corwyn 06:23, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
- Let's at least put the attribution -- I'll go ahead and do so. As for copyrights, it's generally not allowed on wikis -- we're not exempt. I'm not an editor though, so I can only offer guidance, but I can confirm it's against this wiki's copyright policy which uses the Creative Common license (and hence can't use copyrighted content). I'm not surprised to hear that other people have already uploaded copyrighted images though. At some point it seems we, as contributors, will need to go through and remove those which are not legal. Otherwise we're at risk of having the entire site getting pulled down. -- Corwyn 15:38, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
