Mendrugo gets fairly detailed reports from his scribes, and then fleshes them out into something more gripping than raw numbers with scribbled quill-mark notations in the margins.

As entertaining as your articles are, I find ti hard to believe that, in a medieval setting, it is even remotely probable that you could have such precise reports of a battle. Plus, do remember, you're writing a newspaper... not a storybook. ~~
