− | | | + | | Grandmistress Eva signed a peace treaty with Caelint on the 19th of April, we of the Veiled Inquirer have been trying to get a hold of the specifics of this peace treaty but have been unable to do so. From what we have been able to gather, it looks like the Grandmistress has signed a peace treaty without terms! Why would she do such a foolish thing? If you are asked to give someone something, then you ask for something in return, even a peasant knows this! If only Grandmistress Gildre were still here, she would have got something in return, even if it was only a lovely fruit basket. I hear the people of Caelint are quite adept at making baskets out of fruit, which is more than can be said about their ability to defend Baqua. |

− | + | | On the 15th, Gotland completed their takeover of Baqua. Not content to stop stomping around like a drunken goat, they attacked Caelint in Daisha, two days after Baqua surrendered. The militia was quickly over run in Daisha giving Gotland free reign in the area. Gotland and Thalmarkin claimed that the militia of Daisha crossed the border into Sniika attacking their armies. Lemuria Alveron, Dame of Jedinchel (Thalmarkin), has confirmed that the Daisha militia did instigate the attack. No one from Caelint has disputed this claim but King Glynkar Plaraveen did declare war on Thalmarkin in response.

− | + | One day after defeating the tiny militia in Daisha, the goat lovers and human haters attacked the Caelint forces in Haji. Everyone in Caelint were biting their nails as the word came that an attack was happening. All knew that if the battle was lost then Caelint may end up abandoning the region like they did with Baqua. Such fears were reasonable but the attackers were rather weak and unable to secure victory despite having an equally sized army. Thalmarkin and Gotland left with their tail between their legs and the war became silent for a short while.

+ | On the 23rd, the silence came to an end with a horde of undead, likely from all the innocent people killed by Tharlmakin Daimon Worshipers, attacked Gotland in Sniika. Though Gotland was able to kill the undead, their victory was as short lived as a child in the hands of the Unholy Order of Mordok. That same day saw the "Witch"kingdom of Angmar join up with Caelint in an attack on Sniika. Though they had more men, Gotland could not withstand the attack and lost the battle. More than that, drunk on Hair of the Goat, a disgusting alcoholic beverage of the area consisting of goats milk and other things that we simply don't want to know about, the egoatistical Goatseer Quartz Tourmaline stumbled around in the battlefield and was struck down. The udderly audacious Goatseer left the battlefield with serious wounds but has since made a full recovery. Gotland on the other-hand, has not, by the 29th, the region of Sniika fell into the hands of Caelint. With the beginning parts of the war going poorly for Gotland, it seems less likely that they will be able to win the war that they started.

− | | | + | | Vague rumors are spreading that many villages in remote areas in the Northeast have seen a sharp increase in people going missing, mangled bodies left in geometric patterns, and piles of ashes containing charred human bones. There is little doubt that this increase in death and terror is related to the Unholy Order of Mordok. May Obeah deliver humanity from this great plague! |

− | | | + | |After the entirely true article about the love affair between Marshal Zebidiah and Marshal Antonia was released in our first issue, I reached out to Marshal Zebidiah to see if he had any response to his secret coming out into the light. It was not difficult to find him but it was impossible to get him to talk. Having been exposed for all to see he tucks his tail between his legs and avoids the truth! Make sure you pick up the next issue as we will be reaching out to Marshal Antonia next. |

|- | |- | ||
− | | | + | |On the 24th of April, an atrocious explosion rocked Rines' Beautiful Basilica. Falling fragments of fine masonry, mashed many peasants in the purview of the scandalous spectacle. Speculation abounds around the cause of this calamity but confirmation has yet to be had. The dead were dragged out of the disaster area. Observers say the Orphaned Daughter of Oracle, Stheno, was among those dead. |
