Bear Family

The Bear family originates from the hills between Sauvia and Rauxod in the North-East of the Cagilan Empire. It was here that the legendary founder of house Bear, a master hunter named Ukko Bear, saved the lord of Rauxod from the claws of a enormous brown bear and was subsequently elevated into nobility and given an estate in Rauxod.

The Bear family has a long history of providing the Empire with capable and corageous troop leaders, especially for archer units. In the last decades the current head of the family, Turja Bear, has concentrated mainly on trade and building up the families wealth. However, recently two of Turjas sons, Aros and Otso, have taken up military life and joined the armies of the Empire.
