My guess is that the undead leaders are just trying to get more people to head to BT by saying a big invasion will be there, because BT is underpopulated and it should be a massive invasion against a massive human force so it takes a very long time to end. I don't think Atamara or EC will actually be invaded, these undead leaders are just messengers.
