Roleplay from Juitè Rea
Travelling the world wasn't what Juitè had in mind for his life as a noble, but travel he had. Across the Great Sea between islands, and now across the Middle Sea of Dwilight. It'd been a wet, but otherwise uneventful trip, and the capital of the Golden Realm had only been a few days travel from the coast. Tol Goldora had been spoken of with some disdain by the authors of the D'Haran history books, but as Juitè made his way into the bustling center of the capital, Muspelheim, he could see that the dissmissive tone had been unwarrented. The Realm had clearly prospered in the past, as massive forges glowed even in the daylight, there was sprawling expanse of peasent neighborhoods, and great noble esates were carved directly into the side of a dormant volcano. However, many more forges sat cold, the peasantry appeared happy enough, yet many wore clothing that had seen better days, and while the noble estates were clean, several sat unclaimed. Juitè idly wondered about the history of the realm, as he made his way to the city libraries, apparently housed in caves deep in the mountainside. He had purpose here, and it certainly wasn't to be a tourist.

In between her nearly-constant orders to march out onto the fields of battle against the incessant and always advancing hordes of undead monstrosities and ravenous behemoths, Morwenna still yet managed to find time to make her way to the grand library of Muspel. She had been here several times, having discovered it (much to her delight) shortly after she was relocated and granted her position as Countess of Muspelheim. So many books resting on the shelves had yet to feel the tips of her fingers, from both fiction and historical. As of this moment, she had considered stepping into the section dedicated to the religious dogmas that Sanguis Astroism offered, but had elected to pivot into a completely different section instead: fictional stories of heroes, heroines, damsels in distress, and other fantasies. She would have taken one such books off the shelf, describing a rebellious princess holding a holy sword of destiny, holding it behind her back as she searched for a decent place to sit. One of her retainers was standing idle, ready with a freshly brewed pot of tea that smelled of lavender; quite the contrast to the rather dusty scent of old books. The young Countess would be openly visible to any who entered the library from where she was about to take a seat, a chair or two next to a table that her cup was placed upon, and a candelabra lit ablaze to cast perfect reading light.

Roleplay from Juitè Rea
For being a man made cave system, it was surprisingly warm in the Grand Library of Muspelheim. Juitè had been making his way down the long entrance corridor, quietly marveling at the floor to ceiling lone of tapestries covering most of the chiseled walls. Pictographic (and no doubt embellished) history of the city was laid in bright thread, from the twin realms to the current regime's battles to hold onto the wild lands around the city. The hall opened up eventually, treating Juitè to a full view of a massive cavern made of shimmering igneous. Corridors of shelves housed uncountable numbers of books, and Juitè was fairly sure he could see several more corridors along the back wall, no doubt to even more caverns.

A few people dotted the immediate area, a short man surrounded by a pile of books on agriculture at one table, a stone faced hag with three or four books (he was pretty sure they were books that the nearby church would frown upon reading, at least in public) on an anouther, and a graceful young lady with a servant and a book with a title Juitè couldnt quite read the title of on yet anouther. He looked about for a moment, but the organization of this library wasn't terribly clear. Looking at his choices for people to inquire with, he watched as the short man got up and walked away, stumbling slightly on the perfectly even floor. Juitè grimaced slightly, before making his way toward the young lady. She seemed by far the most friendly of his options.

"Excuse me, ma'am," he spoke softly, stopping a short way from her table, "I'm not from around here, would you be so kind as to point me in the direction of the historical records?"

Upon being approached, Morwenna's retainer would intervene, putting a hand out to stop Juitè from getting any closer. "Hold, please, the Countess needs not be bother-" the man would say, before Morwenna spoke up. "That is enough, no need to be hostile. Hello." Her retainer would step back and be silenced, thoroughly whipped.

Morwenna would rise from her seat, and assume her full height, (which was rather short) and curtsy politely. Despite the obvious leisure and relaxed body language she had, she was still dressed in what appeared to be a military uniform, with her sword at her hip. Her eyes would give Juitè a once-over, accompanied with a smile.

"The sections are not clearly marked, so it would be best if you were shown where they are. They are not the most engaging titles, however~," she would say, with a bit of humor to her tone. "You are not a local, you say? Then, what are you?" she would inquire, though not suspiciously.

...a Countess? Whoops, Juitè thought. While he'd been taught all the ins and outs of proper manners, mistakes certainly did happen. He gave a loose, apologetic half-bow to the Lady.

"Excuse my manners, Countess." He glanced at the title she'd been reading - it was some sort of swords and horses fantasy. He'd not spent any time on such wanton things, what with all the research he'd been engrossed in for some months now. Glancing back to her, he continued.

"I actually hail from a different continent from here - have you read about the Colonies? My lineage holds it's family lands in one of the great cities of that land. However, currently, I reside in the southern realm of D'Hara." He smiled slightly. "My ignorance of your name and title is, of course, because of that." Momentarily he was distracted, as the short patron had returned, and promptly caught his foot on a shelf, and subsequently caught his nose on the floor. A moment passed while Juitè refocused on the Countess once again. "My name is Ser Juitè Rea, Countess. Perhaps I could return the favor of asking you about yourself while we walk the stacks?" He gestured broadly to the rows of books, leisurely holding that same small smile.

Morwenna seemed like she was about to answer Juitè's questions, but the unfortunate incident in their proximity would temporarily distract her.

"Oh dear. Poor footwork, indeed," she would mutter, touching a finger to her bottom lip as if she were lost in thought for a moment. "His lack of equilibrium reminds me of a shambling undead. I dare not laugh at him, lest he ask me to put him out of his misery like one," she'd comment, before turning back to her guest. "Morwenna Duskfarer, at your service. Yes, I am Countess of Muspel. I am rather new at the role, but it seems to fit me well." She would resume walking, the fallen man far out of her mind already. "I had been fed stories of traveling the world as a child by my parents. I believe that my family may have come from somewhere else, however...Hm. Right now, the sea appears to be an enemy to my bloodline." She would fold her hands behind her, and a book would fall from her sleeve. She would pick it up with haste, but the title would reveal it's true nature - a romance novel. Swinging it behind her, she wouldn't comment on it, and hold it behind her.

"I suppose I can entertain you for a spell, but only if you in turn entertain me," she says, with that same smile.
