One very bloody day the Wolf Lord needed a bath after he finished hunting. He always washes in the spring of Qual, but the Empheral Emperor knew this and planned a trick. He waited for the Wolf Lord to take off his skin and then dressed himself in the fur and fangs to dance and play. In this bloodlust, the wolf dressed god did hunt the Masked One's goat, staining the hills red. The goat's blood rusted the ground to iron, because the disguised wolf fled the Masked One's rage back to the pool where the bather and the herder did clash. The pool is no more, but the iron mine remains and the Empheral Emperor did giggle across the stars.
