Origins
The De'Verci family originates from its central manor nestled within the Alley of Swords. Once a small minor noble family, the De'Vercis rose to prominence upon the the buyout of a mine located near the base of the South Divide, in which they oversaw the extraction of high quality iron and other metals. These newfound materials allowed the family to quickly enter the weapons and armor manufacturing industry, hiring out the services of foreign and local blacksmiths to produce weaponry for large-scale exportation.
