Kayne Himoura lead a short and glamorous career as Skald of renown within the mercenary Kingdom of Darka. He prone to drunken, nude forays into the capital and wooed many a lady. His only acknowledged son was his namesake, Kayne II. He loved his brother Raziel dearly, and when Raziel was slain in battle, Kayne took his own life shortly after.

Kayne stood 5'10", with fair skin, golden hair and green eyes.

-Kayne was one of two children of Kenshin. His older brother Raziel had always overshadowed him, and Kayne had always resented that, though he loved his brother dearly. In a fit of anger after a disagreement with his father, Kayne left for Darka, becoming a mercenary and developing a musical talent. He quickly made friends with the King, and traveled abroad as a mercenary, bringing his music with him. He quickly grew famous, and was well known throughout the continent of Atamara. He performed at the great continent wide tournament, the biggest of the age, and soon after learned of the death of his brother, Raziel, in battle. Kayne, in his grief threw himself upon his sword.
