Erik lay in his tent. The warm nights of Tabost. After a good bath and a massage he relaxed with his beer and his herbs. The pipe hanging from his lips. Smoke. Outside a beautiful young woman was playing a stringed instrument that produced strange and delicious sounds and songs. He had brought her from the Sultanate. While her fingers touched the strings, Erik walked with his fingers on the silver plates of his necklace. He was smiling and thinking about the girls he would find at morning, swimming in the Sirion River. Families of Trinbar walking toward him to ask for blessings or to show their daughters and sons. Good wives and good soldiers. As Judge, he will execute his last courts. Then, crossing the bridge to Sirion City to give his farewell to the Sirionites in their Capital. He would celebrate. The dragon was laughing.
Guess who's back, back again
Erik is back, tell a friend
Well if you want, this is what I'll give
a little bit of me mixed with some hard liquor
I'm back,
But it feels so empty without me
Now this looks like a job for me
So everybody just follow me
Cause we need a little controversy,
Cause it feels so empty without me.
I'm gonna enter in and up under your skin like a splinter
The center of attention back for the winter
I'm interesting, the best thing since wrestling
Everybody only wants to discuss me
So this must mean I'm disgusting,
But it's just me
I'm just obscene
Though I'm not the first king of controversy
But no matter how many fish in the sea
It'd be so empty without me
Now this looks like a job for me
So everybody just follow me
Cause we need a little controversy,
Cause it feels so empty without me...
Erik stood puzzled for a moment. If his ego was so big, big like his virility, he certainly have a lot of good reasons to celebrate. Nevertheless, he was eager to return to the battlefields and lead his army. Forget his "job" and put more lifeless enemies on the ground. Increasing the amount of names on his wall and carving another mark in his shield. Perhaps some duels. Find out if the men with sharp words could threaten his sword.
