Dixal Family/Khaldrad

Youth

Khaldrad Dixal was born in Venas, in the East Continent. His choleric character made his father hate him, and viceversa. But being the eldest son, the family didn't disown him as they did with his brother Garron. He refused strongly any kind of responsability and lived in an arrogant, hedonistic way until his father had enough with him and 'suggested' him to leave. So he sailed to Dwilight, seeking better opportunities, and landed at the Ordenstaat realm's coast.

Rebellion

A few hours after his arrival, Xiahou Dun started his rebellion against the Brotherhood. Khaldrad didn't do anything, observing what was happening. When he realized that the loyalist faction was going to win, he started acting like a brave and faithful knight. Alash, his unit - the Spiked Shields from Venas - betrayed him, escaping during the night instead of doing militia work. Khaldrad travelled to Rettleville, but he couldn't recruit a new troop for a lack of fighters, probably caused by the rebellion. After a few days, groups of monsters started ravaging the region of Kydonia, Maeotis and others. The Inferi Hunters army was mobilized to rush in aid of the population. Khaldrad managed to recruit a new unit, some infantry from Nark. He called them Flat Shields to avoid the unlucky name of the Spiked Shields who betrayed him. He fought some battles with them, before heading towards Kydonia.

Celtiberian Disaster

The Flat Shields and some other troops arrived in Kydonia alone, with the other part of the Inferi Hunters still on the road. The few soldiers were slaughtered by monsters in an unfair fight. After retreating, the remaining soldiers, heavily wounded, were instructed to go to Celtiberia. Alas, it was wrong order. The counter arrived too late: the small troop, arrived in Celtiberia, was quickly surrounded by monsters and captured. Khaldrad was held in prison for about a week, then he managed to escape. His personality was changed.
