Positions!
There are many positions one can hold in the BattleMaster Universe. Useless pawns, cannon fodder, wastes of realm resources, and rulers are the lowest and most common of these positions. One tier up you from this you will find counts, marshals, generals, and useful pawns. The top most tier contain bankers, judges and dukes. Most of this should be pretty self-evident to you unless you have been lobotomized, or a member of Sirion for more than 2000 days. Below is any easy and useful ranking order chart you may want to keep at hand:
