As you travel the road leading up to the temple you come across a sign along the entrance to the temple grounds leading up to the gates of the courtyard. You stop and look upon the sign it reads:
Founder
The creator of an organised form of worship to our Gods was the prophet Heironous, a mighty man of many words and of great valour coupled with a strong religious fervour. He fought long and hard as a Viking warrior to the cause of Norland, even in his ascension to priesthood he never abandoned the warrior brotherhood that dominates every vikings being. Using vehement zeal of his worship to batter down the pillars of Ithilien beliefs in the heart of their armed peasants (not deeming the honour of being called warriors by the standard of our Vikings)

Origin
The origin of our Viking beliefs dates back to the creation of Norland, for as long as we have been Vikings we have believed in the Way Of The Hammer, but we just never created a organised religion based on our belief. We had long been content with worshipping our Gods and following the Viking ways without guidance of a religious Heirarchy.
