He is to handle foreign affairs. He is the messenger and the receiver of letters from foreign realms. He is voted upon to hold the responsibility to represent Fronen, internally and externally. Therefore, the quality of being a good diplomat is required and knowing the values of Fronen.

Ceremonial Crowning

The ceremony of crowning a Doge with the Corno Ducale (It was a stiff horn-like bonnet, which was made of gemmed brocade and worn over the camauro, a fine linen cap) was a celebration to show the symbolic marriage between the lake Belua and the city of Breeze (Vur Hagin). The Doge is to exit the House of the Duke, situated in the Central Quarter. As he leaves, a long and blue drape is layed on the ground leading it towards his carriage. Outside are to be all of the High Nobles of Fronen standing on each side of the passage. He is to be followed by the priests of the National Religion. In front, is to be the Elder waiting to greet him. While he walks down the path of crowning, chosen girls of noble family are there to gently throw petals of the “ White Petilya Tree” ( a beautiful tree found only near the coast. It only blossoms during the end of summer, but when it does, all eyes gaze upon it, as a miracle of nature, showing its beauty and grace, made for the eyes of a noble). At the same time, pigeons are sent free into the heavens. As he reaches the carriage, he is to bow to the High Nobles of Fronen, to show his gratitude and that he is not any higher than they are. Embarking with him is the Elder. On their way to the port, all the peasantry is standing on each side of the Main Road. When he arrives to his destination, the Elder crowns him the Corno Ducale in front of the curious and festive populous. Afterwards, he embarks on the famous naval ship, The Blue Gem. Sailing into the sea and around all the coast of Fronen and coming back as the sun is setting behind it.

The Doge is voted in office for a lifetime, either until he dies or he is obligated to step down for whichever reasons. Although, there will be a vote of confidence to be held every 3 months. (is to be the games elections or we have to personally generate the referendum)

Once the current Doge is no longer in seat, The Senate is to judge who will be the rightful successor to lead the Republic.

History

In front of the Duchal Palace lies a small stone monument which is to be carved the names of the past, present Doges with the dates of their reign. It seems that in time, flowers grew around it, naturally decorating it as if the gods had made it so.
