The other threw in the pyres secret herbs of Rollbar, different from the herbs that the men smoked. The spiraled smoke arose until the roof and involved them. The real world joined with the world of dreams and spirits. The world governed by the Goddess. With a hiss the song began.

The priestesses danced in a hypnotic trance around him. The music was whispered in his ears as delicious caresses. Inspired by the goddess's ethereal presence, he answered:

The song went finishing. But the dance just changed. Involved by the wine, the herbs and revelations, the sweated bodies went lying down in the cushions. The torments left.  Inebriated, they found celebration. With the priestesses' help, he found the peace that he needed. As a serpent changing of skin, Erik Eyolf abandoned the old problems to face the new challenges.
