I do not know when it was found or where. Yao Ling was given the book long ago by a fellow realm member because it was a book that promoted oratory. She has held onto it most of the time ever since, other than short times it has spent in the care of adventurers.
The book is about the Lady Gheros of Wetham, from the Patel Family. She was a ruler of some renown in the Colonies, and this is a history of her reign.
The book appears to have made its way to Beluaterra via Sir Yeller, Duke of Gethsemene of Riombara, from the same family. He was a swordsman of some renown who won at tournaments against all the best sworsdmen of Beluaterra.
It is truly amazing to see the history at work in this book. Though Yao Ling wonders at the claim that Sir Yeller was both a Duke of Gethsemene and from Riombara. The city is far to the north, while the realm in her memory was always part of the islands in the south east of the continent, many of which fell beneath the waves when the gods drove the Daimons out of the land. Still, the histories do say this and so she will not disparage them.
