Vix Tiramora marched to war under the previous Lord Vixir Gustaf. Many realms doubted the actual reasons for Vix to join and figured it was just a way to bully Eponllyn together with Perdan. At the moment Lord Vixir Gustaf announced he would not be running in the next election, the ambitious Jeames saw his chance.

Jeames Dacara ascended the throne at an age of 21. At the very moment the election results came in, he was in Eponllyn prison. Rumours of him winning the election filled his heart with hope of ever getting out of there.

The first thing Jeames did as Lord Vixir was announcing a cease fire between Eponllyn and them, to renegotiate and make clear what the war was all about. Vix desired the freedom to place their capital where they wanted, but foremost safe passage rights through Eponllyn to pay Nivemus a visit. In the previous war, Nivemus attacked Vix without warning or officially declaring war. A low act and Vix wanted to repay them. Eponllyn denied these terms and the ceased fire was ended. War continued.

The war raged on for quite some time, between Perdan/Vix and Eponllyn/Nivemus. But in reality, Nivemus brought nothing to the table, leaving her ally alone to die. Since obviously Eponllyn couldn't win against two realms, the advantage was quickly played out. An assault on Perdan City, the capital of Eponllyn resulted in a win for the coalition Perdan/Vix and Eponllyn was not able to recruit or defend itself. They were practically dead.

King Garin Indirik of Eponllyn resigned, to the best interests of the realm, but the harm was already done. Before the assault on Perdan City, Perdan and Vix had proposed terms that would mean Eponllyn could keep their borders, but just back off on the travel rights part. They refused to sit at the negotiation table. Now they would pay the price. All south of the Bescanon River was claimed by Perdan/Vix and Eponllyn was allowed to live on in the lands of Nivemus. They would have to carve out a new regio to grow back the realm they once had.

Duke Jeroen Nifelleisca of the Duchy Southern Eponllyn (Perdan, Meuse, Nascot, Bescanon,..) took matters in his own hands and defected to First Oligarch with his Duchy. This prevented Perdan and Vix from taking over all of those regions. A setback. First Oligarch claimed these regions and demanded that the coalition would leave them alone. Clearly, the coalition did not agree to this and both Perdan and Vix declared war on First Oligarch. King Garas Gabanus of First Oligarch quickly turned with the tide and agreed that lands could be handed over. A miscommunication lead to the belief that the coalition would want to see Eponllyn destroyed, which was proved to be wrong. It was at this time that Caligus decided to put an end to the rulership of King Garas Gabanus and Caligus declared war on Oligarch as well.

But then, again, in the middle of several take overs, Duke Jeroen Nifelleisca switched allegiance to Fallangard. Clearly a way of keeping his regions. King Edvard Perfect II of Fallangard, however, sympathised with the situation and entered in peaceful negotiations with Vix for the return of the lands. Perdan, however, instantly declared war on Fallangard to be able to continue the take over.

In the meantime, Xavax and Alara were so pissed off at each other, that they declared Hatred on each other. What exactly happened is sketchy up until this day. Minas Nova and Perleone joined to side with Alara.

A complete Southern War broke loose. Both Minas Nova an Alara were actively engaged against Greater Xavax. Vix Tiramora, having finalised the previous war, joined the Southern states against GX and Fallangard soon formed a Federation with GX in their defense. Soon thereafter, even Perdan joined the allied forces against the threat of GX and Fallangard under command of King Caspian, who led the Perdanese forces. War spoils of the Eponllyn-war were still to be redistributed among Perdan and Vix Tiramora.

The two sides were pretty matched to each other. Both sides cried victory a number of times. The City of Xavax was prevented to be sacked by Perdan due to a call-to-arms of the Lord.

Multiple interesting events happened during the long Southern war and many history books will describe them all different.

  • King Caspian of Perdan colluded with Xerarch Selenia JeVondair and announced to be leaving the war.
  • Later, King Caspian and Xerarch Selenia announced they would be marrying and a big tournament would be thrown.
  • They asked Vix Tiramora to host this tournament but Lord Vixir Jeames denied.
  • When Perdan successfully reached peace deals with all parties, King Caspian disappeared and the wedding never took place. Rumours learn us that Selenia might have something to do with these strange events.
  • Fallangard were thrown out of the game by Vix by successfully taking over and returning Mashhad to Caligus.
  • Fallangard tried to reach a peace deal with Vix to switch sides in the great Southern War. Their true loyalty was exposed to GX and they broke up the Federation. From then on, Fallangard would remain a one city state and be neutral in the war.
  • Perdan re-entered the war under new King Qu'Ardan Lapallanch, who was determined to end GX.
  • Caligus grew bored and their new High King Zinar decided that Caligus did not like the politics of Lord Vixir Jeames very much.
  • It is at this time that, after exactly a (RealLife) year of ruling, Jeames decided to not run in the quarterly elections for Lord Vixir, therefor throwing the towel, hoping for improved relations with Caligus. It did not seem to stop them from colluding with GX, however.

Lord Vixir Jeames won the election to become Lord and Duke of Castle Ubent right before he stepped aside as Lord Vixir, leaving him with the Ducal seat. Previous Lord Vixir Daedalus Dogsbody was the only candidate and won the election to once again become Lord Vixir. He led the realm politically and military as Prime Knight.
