Character Description
Jeames was always the ambitious one of the family. Being the son of Sinted, he inherited the love for politics but also the love for the East Continent. He was a very charismatic person. When first becoming a knight, his posture wasn't exactly comparable to that of knights of similar age. Since he had been mostly reading up on history in books, while most of the others had been practicing their swordfighting skills. As a boy, he was rather frail. It was not until much later when he decided that as a high placed government noble, he had to be more than a charismatic person with a lot of knowledge. He wanted to be able to present himself as a strong leader figure so started training his swordfighting skills intensively. He grew as a leader but also grew in size. You could see his right arm was his main sword arm as it was slightly better developed. His appearance was always neat and tidy. His hair brushed to the side and his light beard perfectly trimmed. He enjoyed showing off marks of his titles on his cloths as he walked through his lands. He would only wear a full armour when actually on campaign.

Characteristics

Vix Tiramora

Jeames started as a young inexperienced noble on the East Continent. With the stories and diplomacy lessons from his father Sinted in his memory, he chose to live an ambitious life.

When he joined, the war with Perdan ended. A new Lord Vixir was elected and enormeous reforms were about to take place. Jeames threw his name in the hat to be Chairman of one of the Chambers. He acted more as the person who would tally the votes, once casted. Not too long after that, a referendum on how to hold referendums (that is not a lie) took place. The idea of different 'Chambers' was put aside. The votes would now go through the three existing 'Houses' (Duchies) of the realm.

Without anything to do, Jeames decided to train his swordfighting skills in Partora. After joining the tournament held by their own Lord Vixir, in Partora, it was quite clear he had a lot of work to do. He managed to get some honour, after not failing in the first round in the swordfighting competition.

Jeames managed to win an election for Lordship over Moyale, a pretty good region with a nice income. Weeks flew by and training sessions got boring. Small internal tournaments were hosted by Heads of Houses in order to keep everyone sharp. Jeames managed to get a fourth place and second place (behind Champion Karas).

When his Liege Meivmayr D. had to refrain from participating in the election of Executor, Jeames took his chance and won, making him Executor of Vix Tiramora. And finally there would be some action, since Vix and Eponllyn weren't on best terms. War has been declared but details are still sketchy.

Lord Vixir

The war raged on. Both Perdan and Vix Tiramora were attacking Eponllyn right now. They gained ground, but how much longer would this continue before other realms get involved?

The next events all happened in a short period of time. Current Lord Vixir Gustaf announced he would not be running for Lord Vixir in the next elections. A candidate was to step up to lead Vix to glory. Since HH Daedalus, HH Meivmayr D. Lapallanch and HH Herion were all Dukes of their respective Houses, which would mean they need to give that position in order to become Lord Vixir, Jeames saw his chance. As Executioner, Jeames put his name forward as candidate for the Lord Vixir-ship.

During an attack on Mulhouse, Jeames was captured by Eponllyn forces. He was imprisoned and sat there for quite some days. When he returned, Jeames had been elected Lord Vixir.

It was well-known in the world that Vix Tiramora and Perdan were now both fighting Eponllyn, something certain rulers did not agree with. To get all the information he would need, Lord Vixir Jeames held a ceased fire with Eponllyn so there could be a vote upon war or no war. Vix desired the freedom to place their capital where they want, but foremost safe passage rights through Eponllyn to pay Nivemus a visit. In the previous war, Nivemus attacked Vix without warning our officially declaring war. A low act and Vix wanted to repay them. Eponllyn denied these terms and the ceased fire was ended. War continued.

End of the War, beginnig of a Southern War?

The war raged on for quite some time, between Perdan/Vix and Eponllyn/Nivemus. But in reality, Nivemus brought nothing to the table, leaving her ally alone to die. Since obviously Eponllyn couldn't win against two realms, the advantage was quickly played out. An assault on Perdan City, the capital of Eponllyn resulted in a win for the coalition Perdan/Vix and Eponllyn was not able to recruit or defend itsself. They were practically dead.

King Balkeese Indirik of Eponllyn resigned, to the best interests of Eponllyn, but the harm was already done. Before the assault on Perdan City, Perdan and Vix had proposed terms that would mean Eponllyn could keep their borders, but just back off on the travel rights part. They refused to sit at the negotiation table. Now they would pay the price. All south of the Bescanon River was claimed by Perdan/Vix and Eponllyn was allowed to live on in the lands of Nivemus. They would have to carve out a new regio for Eponllyn to grow their realm back.

Duke Jeroen Anderson Nifelleisca of the Duchy Southern Eppy (Perdan City, Meuse, Nascot, Bescanon,..) took matters in his own hands and defected to First Oligarch with his Duchy. This prevented Perdan and Vix from taking over all of those regions. A setback. First Oligarch claimed these regions and demanded that the coalition would leave them alone. Clearly, the coalition did not agree to this and both Perdan and Vix declared war on First Oligarch. King Garas Gabanus of First Oligarch quickly turned with the tide and agreed that lands could be handed over. A miscommunication lead to the belief that the coalition would want to see Eponllyn destroyed, which was proved to be wrong. It was at this time that Caligus decided to put an end to the rulership of King Garas Gabanus and Caligus declared war on First Oligarch as well.

But then, again, in the middle of several take overs, Duke Jeroen switched allegiance to Fallangard. Clearly a method of keeping his regions. King Edvard Perfect II of Fallangard, however, sympathized with the situation and entered in peaceful negotiations with Vix for the return of the lands. Perdan, however, instantly declared war on Fallangard to be able to continue the take over.

In the meantime, Greater Xavax and Alara were so pissed off at each other, that they declared Hatred on each other. Minas Nova and Perleone joined the side Alara, but they still prove to be no match for the growing Imperium of Greater Xavax.

The Southern War

A complete Southern War broke loose. Both Minas Nova an Alara were actively engaged against Greater Xavax. Vix Tiramora joined the Southern states against GX and Fallangard soon formed a Federation with GX in their defense. Soon thereafter, even Perdan joined the allied forces against the threat of GX and Fallangard under command of King Caspian Flambard, who led the Perdanese forces.

The two sides were pretty matched to each other. Both sides cried victory a number of times. The City of Xavax was prevented to be sacked by Perdan due to a call-to-arms of the Lord.

Multiple interesting events happened during the long Southern war and many history books will describe them all different.

  • King Caspian Flambard of Perdan colluded with Xerarch Selenia JeVondair and announced to be leaving the war.
  • Later, King Caspian Flambard and Xerarch Selenia JeVondair announced they would be marrying and a big tournament would be thrown.
  • They asked Vix Tiramora to host this tournament but Lord Vixir Jeames denied.
  • When Perdan successfully reached peace deals with all parties, King Caspian Flambard disappeared and the wedding never took place. Rumours learn us that Selenia JeVondair might have something to do with these strange events.
  • Fallangard were thrown out of the game by Vix by successfully returning Mashhad to Caligus.
  • Fallangard tried to reach a peace deal with Vix to switch sides in the great Southern War. Their true loyalty was exposed to GX and they broke up the Federation. From then on, Fallangard would remain a one city state and be neutral in the war.
  • Perdan re-entered the war under new King Qu'Ardan Lapallanch, who was determined to end GX.
  • Caligus grew bored and their new High King Zinar decided that Caligus did not like the politics of Lord Vixir Jeames very much.

It is at this time that, after exactly a (RL) year of ruling, Jeames decided to not run in the quarterly elections for Lord Vixir, therefor throwing the towel, hoping for improved relations with Caligus. It did not seem to stop them from colluding with GX, however.

A new Dogsbody Lord Vixir

Lord Vixir Jeames won the election to become Lord and Duke of Castle Ubent right before he stepped aside as Lord Vixir, leaving him with the Ducal seat. Previous Lord Vixir Daedalus Dogsbody was the only candidate and won the election to once again become Lord Vixir. He leads the realm politically and military as Prime Knight.

At this time, an intervention of Caligus on behalf of GX is imminent, and time will tell when and how that will happen.

The enemies incompetence

And so Caligus intervened and made life difficult for ever Vixen. However, the strength of Vix and Perdan's coordination was the weakness of our enemies. They apparently were too incompetent to talk to each other which revealed great chances for Vix to break through their lines. And so we did.

  • The Capital of Caligus, Domus, was attacked and quite easily taken. Some huge fights did occur, but Vix came out as victor. Not too long after, Caligus had to officially revert their capital to Akesh Temple.
  • Not too soon after, the North (including Eponllyn, Sirion, Shadowdale, Nivemus and Caligus) failed to communicate while GX was busy in the south. Akesh Temple was attacked and quite easily taken as well. Caligus were forced to retreat to Fontan.
  • Iuz Vidar Crownguard, Governor of Isadril, defected from Greater Xavax to Vix Tiramora, being tired of the 'reign' of their Lich Queen.
  • Vix became the biggest realm on the East Continent with 20 regions, having slightly less population than Sirion who owned 19 regions.

War rages on, with Vix crushing the enemy time after time, battle after battle. Only time will tell how much further Vix will have to go to make them see their mistakes.
