Sir Girard Hurlant, Son of Bufort Galantos
RIP. Tortured and Executed by the court of Talerium.
A rakish and sultry lad, Gir has taken after his father in the worst ways possible; drinking, carousing, womanizing, bar brawls, and more drinking. Unlike his father, Girard seems unlikely to sell state secrets to enemies during war time, duel his commanding General repeatedly, or spend all of his money on wine and women.
His weapon of choice is his father's rapier, named "Jaynke's Revenge".
(Why it is named this, no one knows.)
Girard enjoys fencing almost as much as he enjoys drinking and fornication. He has won almost every friendly match he has fought, and afterward always partakes in his (current) finest bottle of Asylonian Red with his opponent.
History
Girard came into his own as a noble of Asylon, finding a group of Noblemen who seemed to also relish the good life. Girard served as Lord of Mech Alb, before it was overtaken by goblins, ogres, and other fell beasts. All of Asylon was driven from western Dwilight, and Girard made the journey East with his fellow nobles, in search of new lands to plunder and claim.
He has served as Asylonian Treasurer, and has been a trader, and a courtier. Girard dreams of the glory days among the Bear Lords, sot with mead and carousing among ample-bosomed viking women.
He spent some time as a noble of Fissoa, but has since returned to the Ancestral home of Atamara.

Notable Stabbings
- The Duchess Larkspur whom offended Girard's brother Alejandro many moons hence, and betrayed Silnaria. Girard couldn't give two whits for the fall of Silnaria, a nation of peasants, but the insult to the Hurlant banner he could not let stand.
