In the afternoon, after their successful raid, the Sirion elves decided to "reach out" to the people of Al Amarah. They visited every tax collector's office they could find and kindly asked they if they wouldn't donate to the upkeep and well-being of their forces. Surprisingly, they were never refused.

On their way back to the fortifications that they had previously conquered, they discovered that a few Fontan fools had decided to lay claim to it. Once again, the Sirion forces assaulted the motte and bailey of Al Amarah, and Fontan blood was spilled once again. Only 1 Sirion elf went down, and he was only wounded.

For his actions leading the charge, Captain Erkenbrand of the Ni'Tessine's Marksmen unit was recognized with the bronze medal of courage. (OOC: He gained a leadership point.)

In the neighboring region of Karbala an undead force rose up, and the Fontan peasants were panicking. A necromancer had apparently decided, with the advent of the Sirion forces only a half-days journey away, that now was a surreptitious time to attack.
