Founded in the Winter of 5 YD by Duke Sammael Haine of Springdale City, the university was built to encourage intellectual discussion and written expositions on various areas of knowledge. The goal is to have guildhouses across the continent. As part of this goal, we have a mutual agreement with the Keepers of Lore in order to see the University taken south and the Keepers taken north.
Campuses
As of Spring of 9 YD, the Dwilight University has six campuses. This list is in chronological order from oldest to youngest:
Ranks
To advance in the ranks, one must write essays. Essays written to achieve a former rank do not count to the next rank. All essays will be recorded in our archives.
Aspirants
Applicant: The rank one has before paying the 25 gold to become a student.
Member
Student: An Applicant must pay 25 gold to be included. The first 10 members get in free(one spot remaining).
Novice: A student must write one essay, approved of by a dean of that subject matter, to become a novice.
Senior: A novice must write 5 non-approved essays or 2 approved essays to become a senior.
Master: A senior must write 10 non-approved essays or 5 approved essays to become a master.
Guru: A Guru is decided upon by a 2/3rds majority vote of the deans based on past work.

Awards
There are various awards available for exemplary essays.
Student of Zyrrin: In honor of the former Duchess of Springdale, this award honors those who have written an essay of remarkable nature. This is handed out by the Dean of Students with recommendations by one of the other deans.
