Daishi - To Await the Great Death

The Ways of Daishi

Daishi is the Great Death and He comes for us all in time. It is our responsibility to be ready for His coming. In the meantime, live and love as if today is the last day that you shall live, for tomorrow may never come. As a purified form of Omniovoism, Daishi follows many of the same tenets, only in a more direct way.

Knowledge is Power

Power is derived from the knowledge that the Great Death comes for us all. This knowledge gives us the power to do what needs to be done to protect the people of Plergoth. Let them come to Daishi at Daishi's time, not when another would strike them down. We will all die. We choose to die well.

Honor is Strength

Being honorable gives a sense of purpose and rightness. The greatest honor comes from protecting those unable to protect themselves, and we fight with the strength of our honor to do exactly that. We are not afraid to die to uphold our honor.

Death is Life

The Great Death comes for us all, and what lies beyond is a question. We must spend this life preparing for the Death that will end it, in whatever way that we prefer. We do not fear it. We embrace it as our final act in this world. Death, in the end, is the ultimate act of Life.

History of Daishi

The understanding of Daishi was born in the great city of Creasur in answer to the fall of Omniovoism into Apostasy. The rebels attacked Plergoth, sowing destruction in their greed for power and money, but were fought back by our brave knights. In their defeat though, they twisted Omniovoism into a bitter shell of its former glory, turning it against the people, and cast chaos into the lands of Plergoth.

Those followers of Omniovoism who could not abide what the traitors had done to their kind religion found themselves brought to the edge of Death, their sorrow was so great. There Daishi Himself consoled them, told them to take heart, and promised to come for them in His time. He said to live now though, and to defend those wronged by traitors and the other fallen. Their hearts lifted by Daishi's comforting, the followers gained strength and began to do Daishi's work on Earth.

The First Temple of Daishi, the Temple of Rebirth, was built in Creasur soon thereafter.
