06Sep06 The new Abington Newspaper Issue 1.1
Printed in Worav, Edited by: Proximus Centauri, Marquis of Worav.

The new Abington Newspaper!
Upon my crowning of the title Marquis of Worav, I decided I would help rebuild the town that had been destroyed by a series of battles, followed by several takeovers. I chose to open a printing press, with hope to help restart the economy, give jobs to the people, and something they could be proud of. So hopefully with all things up and running this will be a consistant newspaper, giving the latest and greatest from inside of Abington.

Due to the current situation inside of Worav, should the worst come, and ASI retakeover the region, the printing presses will be moved to nearby Riverholm and continued from there.

ASI in Worav
ASI once again invades against Abington, going after the home of this newspaper, Worav, recently retaken by Abington is under a Hostile TO by ASI, taking advantage of the movement of Abington forces. Abington, recently pulled back from Worav, due to the Darkan attack on her western front. It is unknown how long it will take for Abby to decimate the Darkan raiders and return to Worav, it is also unknown how long the ASI TO will take. A few straggling Abby units were destroyed in the small battle that took place in Worav earlier today. The Worav Writings would like to commend ASI on thier choice not to use a Brutal TO, thus saving many lives of those in Worav. But have it known, that even if the TO succeeds, Abington will be back to reclaim this land.
A remembrance to the fallen.
A hero of Abington, Nimrod O'Davidson, committed suicide in an ASI prison yesterday after hearing that Judge Moses was going to hang him. Rather than be at the mercy of the villien. Nimrod had served as an infiltrator for Abington for some time, doing missions deep into the Cagilian Empire, even in Cagil itself at times, he kept watch north of Foda, and was the best assassin when Wayburg was taken over. I personally gave him orders during the times we were in Cagil, and Tara, and grew very much to appriciate his work, and how quick and accurate his blade was. He had a light manner, unusual to the infiltrator, but was all business when the time came. He kept us informed of the enemy activity long before it could reach us, and he escorted the foes down to us, playing with roadsigns along the way. Yesterday was a tearful day in Abington, people full of saddness, anger, and vengence. Today is a day of honor, and light shines from even the most shadowy of characters, and Abington will remember always the name Nimrod O'Davidson.

OOC: For those that are not in Abington, and would like to read Nimrods roleplay death:
Letter from Nimrod (1 day ago) Message sent to everyone in your realm (166 recipients)

Nimrod was afraid.

outside he could hear the hammering that was his gallow.

Moses had already paid a vist promising to learn all he knew before he executed him. Nimrod had already told DR the info that Moses wanted. He felt no anger at the judge, they were enemies. infils and judges would be eternally at war. ASI and Abington were enemies, so Moses was just doing what he thought best for the good of his realm.

he had penned a letter to Armitage, a few infact, he hoped they would reach her hands.

Nimrod chewed at his pant seam, he pulled out a small vial, full of the most deadly snake poison, it shut down the heart and lungs and death was quick.

he said a prayer to Luna, praying he was worthy to run with the pack under her face. he took a long look, then open the vial and quickly drank it.

soon darkness set in and he could not seem to get his breath, he tried to remain calm as he realised he really was dying.

a shame he had never told Mia how he felt about her.
