Day 1 (Night):

That last duel was quite a bad turnout for me...while I was distracted by the ladies down by the riverbed, Duncan opened a pretty big slash down my stomach...When I woke up, I was on my bed..but it was a pretty light wound, I'm now recovering very well and have returned to active duty. I have also just handed my report into Lord Hannibal...and challenged Duncan to yet another duel...this time, 3/5...I will have to win 2 consecutive duels like this...

Day 2 (Afternoon):

I've won the last duel with Duncan, and had the score tie up to 2:2. However, he rejected my invitation for the last duel twice is a row, which is really sad because I really wish to know which one of us will win the last one...oh, well. I've brought some more recruits into my unit, at a cost of 20 gold (ouch!), the men seemed enthusiastic enough though. The academy is closed today, so I didn't train today, which is okay, because my cash is running a bit low for now...I had challenged Gaara to a duel...I just hope he won't reject it...

Day 3 (Afternoon):

The first duel with Gaara was won by me, mainly because, I think, of my weapon. The weapon I used was my trusty spear, which does pretty well against someone using a thin blade like that...I've also issued the second challenge to Gaara, and he accepted. The next duel will be next dawn at the west gate. Right now, I guess I will have to train a bit for the up coming event...

Day 6 (Night):

I'm sorry that I was not able to write these last few days. I was quite busy with duels and other stuff. But those last few days were not that eventful, so there's not much to write anyways. However, today is pretty eventsome. There's been a new noble to our realm, his name is Hongli, he's from Sandalak - on another continent! Too bad he had already decided to leave the city when I reached him...he promised he'll be back tomorrow though, and hopefully with lots to tell on his country! There's also that message from Travis about his spear, at first I thought it might be like father's spear, but then, he said it had writings on the shaft...I wonder if father's spear also has writings? Last but not least, there's the tournament! Lycastus is asking the nobles for a vote on whether or not to host a tournament in celebration to the upcoming peace (which is seemingly coming to the island after all the warfare). I was the first one to answer yes to the vote and volunteered to put up 50 gold for the event! The only disappointment today is the lack of reply from the noble whom I have challenged...he hasn't replied in 2 days, I wonder if he'll ever reply?

Day 7 (Night):

Today seems just as exciting as yesterday! Two duels at the same time! This is the first time I have faced off against two others at the same time! Ofcourse, I lost to both of them...tough luck...I challenged Gaara to another duel and left the rematch with Tenebrioun until after the tournament...I hope I can win that one...Oh, also, my skill with the spear has reached a new level! I'm hoping soon, I will be the strongest warrior in all of Light of Fountain!
