Axel
Axel is the eldest of the three, for lack of a better term, siblings (though none of the three are actually related). He is sarcastic and talks very little about himself for all of the talking he does. He is a pyromaniac and will burn anything or anyone in his way into oblivion. He was on the continent Dwilight searching for Xion per request of Roxas when he was caught up in a rebellion in his host nation of Aquilegia. After he had sided with the rebels and assisted them in overthrowing the ignorant government, Axel found himself the Holy Marshal of Aquilegia, charged of overseeing all military operations of the newly instated kingdom under Asterion Ronald Graves. However this did not last. The government change had come too late. The previous lords and laides of Aquilegia had neglected their regions beyond repair and the nation fell. Axel then boarded a ship to the East Continent to find Roxas not knowing Roxas had left the continent. He is now caught up in a war serving the democratic Fontanese.
Roxas
Roxas is considered the middle 'sibling', as he is the middle ground for what holds the Rose 'family' together. He is close friends with both Axel and Xion and will do just about anything to protect these sacred family-like friendships. Roxas is currently on the East Continent searching for Xion who simply vanished one day without saying a word. He does not know if it was her own volition or against her will but he feels that Xion would never vanish for a long period of time without telling him of her whereabouts. Roxas began his search in Ibladesh, but when his efforts were fruitless he moved to the Far East only to get caught in the middle of a ferocious religious war in NeoSartania.
Xion
Xion is the youngest, or for a more accurate description, newest member of the Rose 'family'. She has a close relationship with Roxas and considers Axel a trustworthy friend, however she is currently adventuring on the continent Beluaterra and seemingly doesn't wish to be found by her two friends. It would appear she is keeping a dark secret from the both of them. Xion is currently hunting the undead scourge and hordes of monsters within the mountainous regions of Fronen, apparently in search for something.
